12 Kits of Occasions - Watercolour Wonder!

Yes.  It is the end of the month!  BUT, my blogger is giving me fits with this leap year business!!!  Oh you know it's all me ... but a girl has to try, right?  Seems my scheduling was a bit off!

Nancy Penir, of Artful Notions, is our hostess for 12 Kits of Occasions ... welcome to the group, Nancy!  You've done a fabulous job on your very first kit.  These are just a few of the goodies contained in our February kit:

Though my newest grandchild, and her parent's move has taken priority these last two weeks, I was able to make several cards, and had heaps of fun - and still have lots to play with in the future!

Here is my [very late] design team card:

I Copic colored, and even used the pretty netting that Nancy tied our kit up with!
Can't see it?  Here's a little close up:

Next up, a first-time try with water-color pencils:

Just a little shading, and some enamel dots to create a bit of dimension!

This little shaker card will come in handy over
the next few weeks!

How could I ever resist these butterflies?

My very first seed beads!

I hope you've had a chance to look at every lovely card made by the 12 Kits card club ... I have not, so I'm off to have a nice long visit!

Thanks for dropping by!  Thank you again, Nancy!! xx

  1. Michele, your cards are no less than masterpieces, every one! I was blown away with the use of the tulle, and those yummy donuts. Love the simplicity of the watercolor pencil blooms, the gem shaker, and framed butterfly. And so happy you got to use seed beads for the first time. Gorgeous embellied butterflies!

  6. Hi Michele! Great cards as always! So clever to use the netting from the package - I was trying to think of some way to include that! Love that close up! Your shaker is so fun too! Lots of white today! I have such a hard time embracing the white space - you make it look easy!

  8. Wow Michele, your cards are so fabulous! I love the coffee and donut one, beautiful coloring on them, not sure how you got the netting to stay in place though. I love it! I also love the coloring on those flowers, so gorgeous is this card. Who can resist a shaker card, and then it is in gold to boot! The butterflies are exquisite as are the cards! Hugs, Brenda

  11. Well, aren't you clever! I never would have thought to use the tulle. Love the texture and your fun donuts! How did you fasten the tulle down? All your cards are so wonderfully CAS. You create so beautifully with white and just a bit of color!

  16. I love every single one of these cards, Michele. what do you mean that you didn't have much time to play? All of your cards are stunning, but I think my very favorite is the 2nd one--you showed such incredible restraint in your use of color and details, and the result is simply gorgeous.
