You've captured autumn exquisitely! The embossing folder, the acorn, the oak leaf...stunning! Side story: my dad, many years ago, transplanted a wee oak tree from his home province, into our front yard. The first year, it was a mere twig, standing 7 inches tall and sporting two of the biggest, prettiest oak leaves I've ever seen! Over the years, its grown (and has off-spring in other spots in the yard), becoming a most tall, sturdy oak - much like my dad was. The urn we chose for his ashes: a deep silver, burnished with lighter silver oak leaves...Thank you for this beautiful card; thank you for touching my heart!

ReplyDeleteI would have hoarded that button forever, what a great design Michele! I think that's why I stamp instead of embellish, I hate the thought of using it and then I won't have it anymore... what if I can't get it again lol.
