Muse: ChristmasVisions #10 - a Joy-filled day!

Muse: ChristmasVisions
Chriss Blagrave has combined a few of my favorite things into one darling card for Christmas Visions #10:  embossing, for one and - ahem - I DO live in the Mitten State!!  =]

Here's Chriss' darling card:

Seems like my brain is still on vacation, but I managed to put together a card that might pass - here you go, Chriss!

If you look closely, you'll find an embossed background using a MFT Sweater knit;
embossed Swiss Dots on the mittens, and the word Joy, a bit of twine and appropriate colors.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Monday... bring it, Tuesday!  We've got this!!

OH! and thanks for 'stopping in' ... I love it when you do!

  1. Great use of the colors, and I so love that string tying them together. I remember my mom doing that for me when we lived in S.D.; mittens on first then the jacket...so hopefully at school those mittens would stay with the coat.

  3. Darling mittens Michele! Love that you created so much texture and the snowflakes mittens...cute! I noticed the darling string that attaches the mittens and was wondering if you wore them like this when little? I remember at some point that I did and remember attaching my children's mittens. Sweet memories. Oh, and you worked in the joy :)))
    Thanks so much for playing along at MCV this week!

  13. I love all the details on your card, Michele. The decorated and embossed mittens with their mandatory "don't get lost" strings, The double, no triple, sentiment banners. It's all good.

  15. I love mittens! If it were possible to have different pairs of mittens for every day of winter, I'd be in my glory! Yours here would match my new winter coat perfectly! Another delight!
