The Card Concept #30 Thinking of You

It should be known by now how tired I am of Winter..it has been dreadful.

I must thank this lovely bouquet at The Card Concept, as it surely makes me smile:

I have used the Freestyle Florals from Mama Elephant once already, but reached for it again for this challenge. I'm never sure which "style" I'm conveying here though I always start out to be simply CAS... what would you say?

I've used Distress Inks for water-coloring, several sprinkles in the way of sequins, and a sentiment from the March SSS card kit - if you haven't seen it, please take a peek - gorgeous collection of yellows and greys! [Which you may see soon - hint, hint =]

Daisies, and Dahlias, and Mums - oh my! This time, I added a bit of grey to the background to convey how flowers could make anyone forget about grey skies, or Winter!

What makes you "think Spring?"

Thanks for stopping by! =]

  2. Beautiful bouquet Michele! Love the grey background and the rich and vibrant colours in the blooms! I may have to get this floral set after all... Love your sentiment!
I know it's Spring here in Austin when the Texas Mountain Laurel blooms. Mine are threatening to burst in a day or two BUT, we are supposed to have our temps go from 70 to 30 in the next 7 or 8 hours! Anywhoo...when they do bloom, it smells like grape Kool Aid. The next bloomer will be the Wisteria. They have a delicate fragrance unique to them too.
