Goodness knows that 'second helpings' don't happen often around here these days, but I just couldn't waste one smidgen of that fun waxed paper panel! Thanks, Color Hues #135!
A single SB Sunflower Serenade over a waxed paper panel inked with
yellow and CP Blackjack ink + another SB Better Press-ed sentiments
all framed up in a Waffle Flower Crafts Rectangle Frame.
Have a wonderful weekend my friends!

Another work of art, that background is so cool! You and Tom have a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them one the best. That sunflower is so pretty on that gorgeous background. Second helpings are always nice.
ReplyDeleteBut wait, there's more! Loving the tone on tone flower, so clever and beautiful Michele!
ReplyDeleteSweet! LOVE the technique and this beauty! Color Hues colors worked wonders here
ReplyDeleteOooooooooh...LOVE this one too Michele! That sunflower looks fantastic with the wax paper technique and your background is STUNNING!! So glad you played 2nd's and shared with us again at Color Hues my friend...lovely, lovely card!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteLove this! The sunflower is fabulous--I think you sent me off to buy it last summer--and the background you've created is wonderful, too! Thanks for the second helping--we're always glad to see you back in the Color Hues gallery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of the waxed paper panel, Michele! It makes a really cool background. I love how you used the yellow tone-on-tone, but with a different texture! Your blending of yellow and black inks is absolutely flawless! (I'd end up with a muddy mess at the boarder.)
ReplyDeleteYou have a great weekend too! Hideko xx
So lovely, Michele. I want to try the wax paper technique but thought I needed a stencil. I guess not. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSo delightful!
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo gorgeous!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful reminder to get out wax paper and my iron, Michele! So much yellow goodness with this background and sunflower and just enough black to make it pop! Thanks for the second helpings at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bloom and background.
ReplyDeleteStunning Michle! I love the yellow and black combo! The waxed aperp background is perfect for this one! Love your colouring. Have a good one! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's as though the sunflower is growing tall with its head in the sun and feet in the shade. Gorgeous! The crinkle background shows up beautifully here. The decorative edge strongly resembles a flower bed border I put up this year.
ReplyDeleteOH WOW ... this is just gorgeous! Very striking! You've inspired me to play along!
ReplyDeleteWell, now you are using my favorite sunflower die! This is a show stopper for sure. Thanks for coming back and joining us again.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is THEE most dramatic card from you, ever! It's hauntingly gorgeous, Michele and took my breath away.....Wowza!
ReplyDeleteThis card is stunning. I have got to try this technique! What fabulous CH colors. you have done your magic with them.
