Julie Beech has a wonderful color combo for us this time at Color Hues #116 - sorry it has taken me so long to get a card made for you, Julie!
I had my hot little hands on this stencil, and I wasn't going to let it go again until
I used every color combination I could think of ... this one's just for you!
For someone who claims to not like blue, these
shades of blue leaves make me quite happy!
Sorry I've been MIA - don't think for a moment that I haven't been
creating cards! Lots to share at the end of the week - hope you'll stop back!

I'm not a fan of red+blue but you've definitely won me over! I think you chose the perfect combo and I will definitely keep checking in to see your projects!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. I love blue leaves...and I am not a blue fan. But somehow with flowers it works.

ReplyDeleteI wondered where you were. I can't wait to see what you've been up to! These red flowers with the blue leaves make a fantastic card for Color Hues! I do love red flowers and this is a beautiful shade of blue. Thanks for sharing with us, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these together. Beautiful combination of all shades. And I so love that sentiment die cut!
ReplyDeleteI should have taken more advantage of that stencil while I had the chance. I would never have thought about using red and blue but I love how it turned out, Michele.

ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning and I love the added texture. Red and blue is definitely a good combo xx
ReplyDeleteI have thought your posts were unusually sparse, but then I haven't been around as much either. I'm seeing today that you have bunches of cards to share and I'm going to just sit here for a few minutes and enjoy them... starting with this one! A gorgeous stencil looking so lovely in blue and red with the all-over texture. A simple sentiment across the front is just right!
