Color Throwdown and The Paper Players

Hello, my friends!  Hope you are all enjoying this holiday weekend and have found a special way to remember those who gave their lives for us.  We are sticking close to home this year and are enjoying a bright sunny day... it's warming up a little too for which I am grateful as we might have gotten a wee bit ahead of the game with our veggie garden!  

I had a little bit of time in my craft room yesterday and managed to put together one card for two challenges - look at me go! LOL


I found the colors at Color Throwdown #833 irresistible and found some darling gingham in my stash that works nicely for a trio of die cuts for LeAnne's Sketch over at The Paper Players #739!  The little rectangles were cut with a new die set from
Waffle Flower Crafts called Blanket Stitch Layers.  That little white bloom is an 
oldie from PFS - not even sure if they still have it!  Topped with a few enamel dots and I was very happy with my little mini-slimline card.

    Glad to hear you have some sunshine coming your way, it feels like it's been a while for you... We are heading back home tomorrow and looking forward to our warmer weather, although there has been no lack of sun, but it's still cold in the mornings here (I've become soft lol.)

    This is quite a little charmer, Michele! I just have to love the trio of gingham in such pleasing colors, and the flower stem is sitting pert and pretty on top. I hope your warm weather continues for your veggies!

    Anything with gingham is a ok with Michele, and this card totally has me smiling! The new scalloped rectangle dies were perfect for this challenge and I'm loving that sweet little flower too! Awesome card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

    Delightful card with happy gingham! Love the colors. Our weekend was pretty soggy, but the rain stopped long enough for some s'mores last night. :) Yay for a garden full of tasty goodies!

    What a great way to use the CTD colors combined with the PP Sketch. I LOVE that flower die cut and it looks so wonderful in white spanning the three gingham rectangles. Love the way you placed the sentiment too.
