There aren't many signs of Spring 'round here - though I am grateful for the little warm-up we've had I can only hope it stays around!
Our Bluebirds and Tree Swallows have chosen which box they'll use to nest - funny thing: they've decided to use the box built for the other breed! Oh well, let the nest building begin!
Speaking of... that darling Concord & 9th Birdhouse Blossom set landed in my studio this week! The 'bundle' came with an EF to add a bit of realism to the birdhouse bits!
What a delightful dose of spring! I hope it shows up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat great details in this birdhouse, Michele! It begs to be touched. Your spring garden looks like a welcoming place for this bluebird to nest!
ReplyDeleteJust wonderful and sweet with all the little details and color! I love it on a post with the flowers growing up around it. Birds will be birds. I guess your bluebirds just wanted to move house!
ReplyDeleteYou beat me to it, Michele. I got that set - minus the ef - but haven't had a chance to use it yet. That fat little bluebird is ready to start nesting in the pretty yellow house.
ReplyDeleteYour spring garden is lovely under that cute birdie with his great looking birdhouse. Love the texture and details.
ReplyDeleteWhat an ADORABLE card Michele! I love the woodgrain texture of the bird house and the top 2 pieces that cross at the top remind me of a teepee....could it be a birdhouse teepee?! Sweet, sweet card my friend and I love the size too! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteYour "momma" is adorably plump and perfect! Love the bright colors and fun house with all that scrumptious texture
ReplyDeleteWhen spring is late to arrive, it's wonderful to be able to create it ourselves! Better not let the real birds spot this, they might take up residence! This is just a lovely as it can be, Michele. Fabulous layers and texture!
ReplyDeleteOh, that chubby little fella just makes me smile! I'm letting mine lose a few ounces before she makes her debut ;) Perfect springtime colors, too!
ReplyDeleteSuper duper cute and soooo 'Springy', this card makes my heart happy Michele!
ReplyDeleteWe've had 80 degrees a couple of times, but the warm weather is really not showing up yet. I expect it will just be 100 soon and that wil be that. I love this bird and its house decorated with posies. Very Spring-y.
ReplyDeleteNever argue with nesting birds! Gorgeous card!
