Just another Penny Black Saturday Challenge for Monday!

After all those paper-pieced cards, I looked forward to a little coloring this morning - what better way to start the day than with these sweet little Penny Black characters?   Who better to share them with than the gals at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge?

I found these little fairies among my PB Christmas sets and
right away thought they would be darling in the Color Hues colors!

Here are my little snowman-building Snow Fairies!

Personal note to Bobby: This is my last embossed piece - can you help a girl out? lol
After the holidays will do, thank you!

Happy Monday, my friends!

  2. Oh, sweet! There are lots of treasures to be found among the older PB stamps. These fairies are cuties and you colored them up prettily with your Copics. What fun!

  9. If you make enough blue and purple cards you will start to like it. I already like it and think those little fairies are so cute xx

  12. One of those fairies magically appeared on my shelf, already colored in purples. It must have snuck out of my Bits box but how curios that it happened now when you're showing it off with her friends. They are adorable, Michele, and look like they are having the time of their life in the snow. Of course I will send more panels. I had planned to anyway. Just need to know what paper you'd like. I do have a few leftover pieces of #80 Neenah, but also Hammermill and my ever faithful PTI. I know color matters. ;)

  13. These fairies are so cute but I cant help feeling a little anxious about how cold they must be with the snowballs on their bare skin. I am a weirdo. This is a very fun scene and I love the colors.

  14. Yes, it is soooo nice to colour and relaxing too (mostly lol). Love these fairies, but especially adore them in the purples!

  15. They obviously don't feel the cold I remember a thousand years ago I was the same, well not like a fairy but you know what I mean. Beautifully coloured images they look like they are having so much fun.

  16. What a fab little scene Michele, those fairies are obviously from the North of England. When my son was in his clubbing youth he would venture forth with just jeans and a T with snow on the ground and the girls were even more scantily clad!! A great take on the Color Hues colours, tfs and Happy Holidays. :)
