One of those 'snippets' found its way onto a card today... why not make it for Freshly Made Sketches? Cecile's sketch is wonderful:
Ready? set... go...
Which came first - the pressed pines or die cut ones? It doesn't really matter, though I'm awfully thankful to have these wonderful die-cut pine boughs from my friend Bonnie, I think they are wonderful with the Betterpress-ed Pine Boughs I had tucked in the packaging! Guess what else was ready to play? This playful pup and sentiment from
Colorado Craft Co.'s All is Bright set.
Last but not least: another C&9th ornament that was cut last week!
I have made SO many Christmas cards this week! More on those soon... but I managed to sneak in a little ink blending for Color Throwdown #813! Broni has such lovely 'sherbet' colors for us this week:
are the inks I blended on my white cardstock before cutting:
I'd love a big bowl of tropical rainbow sherbet right now!
from Alex Syberia's Spring Garden set.
I'll be back tomorrow with those Christmas cards! Until then, I'm wishing you all a happy day!

Great cards, as always. My fave is the second one and those lovely soft pastel colours xx
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards Michele. That pup is the cutest and your pressed pine boughs are lovely. Your use of the colors from Color Throwdown is a wow. The leaves look great and that big hello is perfect in gray. Can't wait to see your Christmas cards tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see that you put those wispy branches to good use, Michele! How fun to put this pup's bed under in the branches with a sweet ornament to gaze at! A cute, cute Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteFor got to say that those sherbet colors are almost as good as a bowl of sherbet!
ReplyDeleteYour 1st card is absolutely ADORABLE Michele...I just love that pup!! I bet he's wondering what kind of treat Santa is going to bring him!! Your 2nd card is so pretty in the soft pastel colors...those leaves are just bloomin' wonderful! Another lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that you have made a LOT of Christmas cards, you must be catching up now?? And today, that cute dog reminds me of ours (but he would be rolling in the sand lol.) and those subtle blended leaves are very dreamy!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun first card and a absolutely lovely second card. The colors! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what makes me smile more, that cutie little pup or your sherbet colored leaves! Two delightful cards, Michele!
ReplyDeleteYour snoozing pup is adorable! But I'm equally in admiration of your second card -- great sherbet colors with your bold hello
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I'm getting more inspired by the minute. You know I love the pup. Hoping Sophie keeps me calm this season. She can be pretty relaxed at times. Your rainbow sherbet card is gorgeous! It just so happens I love rainbow sherbet. White in the background, soft gray on top... dreamy!
ReplyDeleteTotally love the soft leafy colors for the background! Way to rock the throwdown colors!

ReplyDeleteI love that do just chillin' in the snow! The big grey "hello" on top of those sherbet colored leaves is gorgeous too.
Nothing like a snoozing pup to make me smile! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh my, the sweet pup is just delightful, Michele! It's always a treat seeing your designs in the FMS gallery.
ReplyDeleteThe different styles of cards show just how creative you are, Michele. That dog under the pines is so cute and what a great color way for those leaves.
ReplyDeleteThese two cards are absolutely stunning, Michele. The one for FMS is just so cute and fun and I love the super soft and smooth colors of the second one. Thanks so very much for joining us at FMS this week.
ReplyDeleteSo soft and beautiful, Michele!! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
