If you need a little enabling in your crafty life, look no further than Ms. Laura Bassen - aka Laura Fedora! I couldn't hit the 'buy' button fast enough after watching this video - I spent a few hours with this Festive Blooms die set yesterday... the sky is the limit with color combos!
The set includes a cutting die and one that debosses a gorgeous 'pattern' to
follow when placing all the bits and pieces. Laura explains it better
than I. I can see myself using that debossed image as a background piece, too!
By the way, the bundle includes that sweet little banner but the sentiment
is from C&9th's Festive Blooms stamp set - I bought the deluxe bundle to have them both!
Here is another - based on a color combo that Laura introduced me to years ago - I
have a photo her card displayed in my studio, so I won't forget it!
Ohhhhh how pretty!! Love them both, Michele, but that first one is gorgeous...those colors!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed that video as I love watching anything Laurafadora puts out, but it was fun watching her put everything together and I'm loving both your versions too and can totally see why you HAD to have that bundle! (Better leave that one out for next time I come to visit!!) Lovely, lovely cards Michele!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards using your new toys. Love the shape of the card base ... just perfect. xx
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. Laura is an enabler, but only in the best way 😉. Wow, both cards are gorgeous, that second one, the color combo oh yes, please. I will be pinning this one.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. Love to see you embracing that blue again. Thanks for sharing the video. I have watched it already, but am determined not to buy any more craft stuff for a good while xx
ReplyDeleteYep, either Laura or Jennifer McGuire will enable me EVERY time. SO dangerous! I especially love the color combo on the second--so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely gorgeous and you are one smart gal to get this when you did as I procrastinated and then it went out of stock everywhere, I even googled it and looked at places I have never seen but I am on the notify me list at Concord and have the sentiments coming , I am so jealous LOL!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are beautiful. Love the colors in each one.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and I adore that shaped background! idk if the whole card is shaped but I sure like it
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so beautiful, Michele. Love when you get inspired by other crafters. Looks like you had a delightful crafting session or two. I also think it is pretty neat that you keep inspiration cards on display! You are a smart crafter!! Happy crafty weekend!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards Michele! Love the colors on both. I can see why you had to have this bundle.
ReplyDeleteI love that you can make a shaped card with it. Both color ways are beautiful, Michele.
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous, Michele! Love the rich red with aqua berries and the blue and pink works great too! I love that you can use the die for a shaped card!
ReplyDeleteI have no words.... Maybe after I scrape myself off the floor...
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the enablers of this world... there are many! Laura got you in a good way because I know you'll use this set many times over. Just look how beautiful, and so much fun! I love your colors on both cards, and the sentiment with banner. What a joy and a total delight for the eyes!
ReplyDeleteInspired by Laura and always inspired by you too MIchele! Great use of colour and this fabulous die, you have added some serious WOW here!
