I didn't expect to be back on Saturday, but then this happened... Four Seasons April 2024:
I find these mood boards so hard to resist... and [happy sigh] birds! I found just the right Chickadee in a very old Brand Kincaid design for EH...
PTI Botanical Blocks 2, over SSS Lilac Clusters embossing
Well, as long as I'm here, I might as well share another card - or two? One I hinted at last week - it has been delivered and appreciated... Hideko's birthday card in shades of her favorite color!
Last one... I recently traded some [let's call them 'overstock'] supplies with a friend. I haven't ever purchased one of Lavinia's sets, but I sure did have fun watching videos on YouTube of them coming to life. For Julia: Seren and Berry Wreath...
Have I ever shared how I make masks for stenciling? All of us receive
these laminated ads in the mail, right? They are perfect for masks -
here's one I made using a circle die...
MFT's work well, too! wink.
Thanks, Julia for sharing your 'overstock' with me!

Every one is a beauty Michele!! I love the softness of the bird and lilac card...soooo pretty! Hideko's birthday card is fabulous and looks perfect in the purples!! I don't have any of the fairy Lavinia stamps, but am getting a collection of the critters and trees if you ever want to borrow any...your card is beautiful!! Hope you're staying warm...what a chilly day!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteMichele a fabulous trio of cards. One can see your touch for sure. And if all the eye candy wasn't emough...a fabulous idea for creating masks. how many of those have I tossed out! Sheesh. Brilliant just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLots of oohing and aahing happening over here! This is a marvelous trio of beautiful cards, Michele. Love the embossed lilacs to bits. Add that EF to the list!

ReplyDeleteWow three totally different cards and all are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA lilac embossing folder? Be still my heart! Your little Chickadee is a charmer perched against the blooms. Very pretty, Michele! Hideko's card is gorgeous in those same lilac shades, and you finished up beautifully with your Lavinia card! It's magical! I have Lavinia stamps not yet used that I keep looking at. My happy place is so full of goodies I hardly know where to go next.
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful cards Michele but have a soft spot for the lilac and little bird, like you I love my birds, and my garden and this reminds me of my lilac soon to be appearing.
ReplyDeleteThe incredibly lovelies here, Michele! The lilac card with the little chickadee stole my heart from the start. What a gorgeous ef, one that I would love to add to my crafty arsenal. Hideko's card is stunning, as is your sweet Lavinia fairy card. Such a broad range of styles here that you pull off perfectly. Your talents are unmatched!

Such beautiful lilacs embossed, stamped, colored and die cut! A perfect assortment! I KNOW that Hideko LOVED your card! It couldn't be more appropriate for our friend! Your Lavinia card looks like you've been doing Lavinia for a long time! So perfect and fun! Great trade!
ReplyDeleteI love birds too and that little chickadee found a lovely flower to admire. Your 'tapestry' is lovely, Michele. I have never used Lavinia stamps before but I love the way you made a moonlit scene for the wonderful fairy. What a great idea to trade overstock.
ReplyDeleteI am so enjoying the lilac at the moment. It is in flower here, quite early this year, and when I am on my morning walk I will always stop to smell the lilac, so I am loving that first card. Great scenes on your other cards too xx
ReplyDeleteI statrted to comment on this post the other day, and somehow it is gone (I think). I have been looking for a lilac image, and then I saw this post. Oh that EF is incredible. In the cart! And then the pairing with the stamped lilac and bird... Oh my. Hideko's BD card leaves me speechless. So much gorgeousness! and great work i=on the Lavinia card. I am always attracted to their products, but have not bought any. Your card is beautiful and dreamy. Love it!

I'm totally mesmerized by your cards--especially the last one with your DIY circle stenil. So smart!
ReplyDeleteAll three cards are gorgeous, Michele! But I must say the second card is so special! I'm so lucky to have the original in my hand. It makes me happy every time I see it displayed on my desk. Thank you so much again for this wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteThe deep and intricate embossing in the background (Card 1) and the seamless ink-blending (Card 3) are beautiful!!
Hideko xx
Three gorgeous designs Michele! Each one so different and put together so nicely with your beautiful images, embossing folders and inks! So happy that you are creating with the Lavinia's! Julia xx
