How's that for an attention-grabbing title??!! Ha! This big guy and his little boo boo should watch what they eat from the contents of my Honey Bee Vintage Picnic Basket...
Papa bear is from the Honey Bee Heart Hugs set - and 'Boo Boo' is the main body of the Hedgehog from the same set - pretty resourceful aren't I! I adore this Vintage Picnic Basket in Plaid from their Holiday Wishes paper collection. The Stamp Market provided the background - one of an old Halloween collection! Those cattails were found in the Holiday Blooms die set from Spellbinder, and a few bits from HoneyBee's Winter Greenery set.
Sunday is a day for making - and this one really makes my spirits bright. So does the bread Tom is baking - yum! I am gifted the 'heel' which I always eat warm with butter and white sugar in honor of my dad.
Thanks so much for dropping by - YOU also brighten my spirits!

You are so clever, my friend! Mr Bear and his Boo Boo Bear are adorable and look quite happy with that picnic basket! I'll bet your house smells wonderful with that bread baking!
ReplyDeleteooh that bread sounds yummy and I just might think you will have to fight these cute bears for it... especially if it is covered with crunchy white sugar! I may just have to swap you a piece of my banana bread... which was eaten warm straight from the tin and covered with butter!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Great basket too :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love the bears and the pic-a-nic basket! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love this sweet pair! This is a darling card, Michele. Love the plaid picnic basket. Homemade bread, mmmm sounds yummy and would have gone great with the pork roast and kraut I made today!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Clever indeed, and so full of fun-spreading joy! We love that you share your adorable card and your joy with us
ReplyDeleteWonderful, creative, amazing is what this and you are! Love your style. And YUM on the bread! When my grandma came to visit, she always baked bread and it is most delicious right out of the oven. She even made what she called "bangs" which were pieces of bread dough pulled apart to mimic a donut and deep fried in oil. Heaven on earth, I tell you! Crafty hugs!
ReplyDeleteOK, I out the dies in my basket last night. They are so, so adorable, and now you had to add the basket! I am just loving seeing all the things that these little critters can hold. Endless possibilities, I see. Love them all. The bread sounds divine...
ReplyDeleteThis is just too CUTE Michele and I love that you made Papa bear and baby bear from the same set...clever you!! Also loving that picnic basket in the plaid...I want one just like it!! Cute, CUTE card my friend, and sure hope you enjoyed that homemade bread!! Yummmmmmm!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to use the hedgehog for a baby bear, Michele. I'll have to try that. Love the picnic basket in plaid. I have one I made ages ago and then never filled it. I have so many things I want to make but the energy just isn't there.
ReplyDeleteI am just imagining that I am eating that bread with lots of butter. I will leave out the sugar though. Great card and brilliant use of those dies. You really are very creative with your supplies. Love it xx
ReplyDeleteIf there is anything better than one bear on your card it is two bears!! Adorable!
ReplyDeletePapa Bear "looks smarter than the average bear". :) Adorable card ... I enjoyed reminiscing about Yogi! :) xx
ReplyDeleteAck, so cute! I was looking at these dies at Honey Bee. Love that picnic basket, and you know how I feel about critters. So much fun, Michele!
ReplyDeleteCuteness overload ! The colours are stunning and I love the patterned papers so beautiful.

Seems like whenever I discover a card I like, you made it! (New follower, great admirer.) A big challenge is finding dies that coordinate size-wise and your cattail fits perfectly. I’ve been unable to find it, can you help? Thank you!
