I'm popping back in with a quick post for Just us Girls #704 - Carol has chosen red and green this month for their color challenge - perfect timing, my friend!
I was so tickled to see MFT bring their Santa's Elves set out of the vault this week - always a favorite of mine! It's so old the metal dies are NOT outline dies! But I don't let that bother me. My card uses one of the wonderful gifts I received for my birthday - can you believe that gorgeous, embossed texture?? Thank you, Bonnie - and for not minding if I used the elf set, too! wink.
You know my rule at Christmas: if you make one, you might as well make TWO!
Those wonderful papers are from Honey Bee's Holiday Wishes and were included
in my gift from Tom - more on that soon!
I attempted to make a few more 'masculine' cards for the seniors this year.
I better get that little elf in the gallery before the door closes! Hope your week has been great so far - if not tomorrow's FRIDAY! We can do it!

I knew you'd put that embossing folder to good use and I wasn't mistaken! It is perfect for this sweetest of the elves! I like your card better than mine! And I love how you've used this beautiful die cut deer again! Keep that inspiration coming, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI always kicked myself for not buying the dies for these elves, they are sooo sweet, and I LOVE that they are out of the vault! Awesome colouring my friend!

ReplyDeleteYour little elf is perfect, even without it being an outline die. So darn cute! Wonderful gift from Bonnie looking so good in the background. The sentiment is my wish for everyone this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOh that elf! Who knew those ears were perfect to keep your hat from slipping over your eyes!!! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteTwo delightful red and green cards, Michele! That little elf is a doll but that embossing folder caught my eye, what a beauty it is! So happy to spot your fabulous card in our JUGs gallery! Tom did a little crafty shopping for you!!??... what a guy!!
ReplyDeleteA duo of delightful cards, my incredibly talented friend! I have several sets of non-outline dies and, as you mentioned, they're still a delight to use. I'll take dies of any sort rather than fussy cut! Your elf really is a sweetie! Thank you so much for sharing your smile-making creativity over at JUGS!
