Freshly Made Sketches #608

Jacquie is our host over at Freshly Made Sketches this week and I really love her sketch.  After making my card, I questioned whether or not five items were required - I hope not!

I just love the embossing [SSS Fir Tree Branches] behind my ornaments!
 here's another look...

I spent a day with my sweet friend Marcia - she let me play with her goodies from the Pinkfresh Create class she took... more on that very soon!

We have had the worst week weather wise - clouds and rain for days!  I promise this little stripe-y ornament is the sweetest of greens from The Stamp Market! lol

Thanks, Jacquie - and thank YOU for stopping by!

  1. How cute is this! I bought this EF at the end of the year last winter and can't wait to break it in this year. It looks terrific here. You know I always wish for one of those play dates with you and Marcia... one day! XO

  3. What a pretty make using those supplies from the Stamp Market. That was one of my favorite sets in the kit and your card is beautiful inspiration to use it again!

  9. Great idea to turn the joy into a garland and I really like the muted colour, it helps show off the dimension xx

  13. Oh my...Beautiful texture from your dry EB background for your hanging LARGE die cut JOY. Michele. How fun to have a play day with Marcia. I can't wait to see what she created too. So much fun when creative friends get together:-)

I am working on my Christmas cards making duplicates with a little difference in each card...which keeps me from getting bored:-) I have 26 done to go with my 7 one of a kind cards that I had in my stash. Tomorrow I will start making 10 more of a slightly different design...It makes my stash grow quickly and perfect for friends and family who do not make homemade cards:-)

TFS your Gorgeous holiday cards, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy

  19. I love your creative take on the sketch, Michele, with the Christmas ornaments as banners! The fir branch embossed background adds so much interest to this white-on-white design. Love the shade of green of the bauble stripes as well.
