Each year for the last few, Marcia has 'attended' the Pinkfresh Studio's Create and Connect class. This year it was co-sponsored by The Stamp Market - one of my favorites. Marcia kindly allowed me to take that set home, and I took advantage of it, believe me! You saw the first of my cards on Monday for FMS. Here is one more:
It is nearly impossible to see it, but the center of the O is a shaker filled
with glorious mica flakes! I backed the panel with an embossed one
to bring a little interest to that aperture.
I was quite taken with this PF Folk Snowflake that has coloring stencils -
A very old embossing folder from my stash provided a pretty base for it
and I added a teensy bit of glitter using a Quicky glue pen - here's a closeup:
And another in PINK!
Besides chocolate cupcakes with browned-butter frosting, I brought along a few new sets from Colorado Craft Co. to share! Here are the cards that I made...
I'd put money on what that pooch is wishing for!
Realistically this kitten's paw would be batting that star - ever so gently, though!
A few of those die cuts from The Stamp Market set combined beautifully with
some leftovers I had from Waffle Flower's Folk Art set!
Mr. Snowdude found a pretty fun place for his Christmas greetings, too!
I perched another on top of a gorgeous snowflake cover panel from
Marcia's Sensational Stamp Shop!
Some glittery grey cardstock behind, and sparkling Stickles above
finished up my final card!
Such a wonderful day - even with the car issues! Nothing makes trouble melt away like a big ol' bowl of Marcia's delicious chili! BONUSSSS - I even got a snuggle with her darling new grandson! What a wonderful surprise - please thank Calla again for coming by! OH, and thank Chris again for the good advice and for taking a look under the hood!
Thank you, my wonderful friend for another great day together and for sharing your fun class supplies! I'm on my way to see all the magic you've created!!
Of course, we'd love it if ALL of you could join us, too! Just imagine that! I totally can!

I just knew you'd have all kinds of goodness to share this morning Michele, and all 7 cards are FABULOUS!! Your 1st card with the Stamp Market stamps and dies is so beautiful and I love that you made a shaker with the "O"! And of course those PFS snowflakes are awesome too...both colors! And how could I not love the Anita Jeram images?! Those cards have SWEET written all over them!! I've been having fun with those images too...will have to do another post for those! Get togethers are always the best, even in spite of car troubles and die cutting machines too! (My new one comes today.) Thanks for sharing all your goodies with me...you can bring them to Marcia's Stamp Shop anytime!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could join you! I am so impressed with how much you both accomplished! I LOVE the beautiful JOY card! The colors are so pretty and I love the shaker! The folk art snowflake is so pretty in both colors and I love the bit of sparkle! A perfect sentiment to go with this sweet star watching pup! I am certain that the sweet kitty is getting ready to bat at the swinging star. And you have used this sweet snowman beautifully. Twice! (I may have to CASE one if I can decide which.) I am so jealous that you can get together but happy for you too.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a wonderful collection. You clearly had a very productive day. Don't we all wish we lived close enough to join in xx
ReplyDeleteWow, what a play date! ALL of these are wonderful! Those little Colorado images are the SWEETEST but I have to admit that the JOY shaker card was my favorite! Of course, all your cards are my favorite,LOL!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have had a blast here my friend, I can't choose a favourite, though I do have a soft spot for that peekaboo snowman!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards! Love the gorgeous folk snowflake cards, and the delightful Anita Jeram designs too! Your 'JOY' card is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgoeus array of Christmas cards Michele. Looks like you and Marcia had a lot of fun and were VERY productive too! :) I love all your cards ... the large JOY die is AMAZING and so fun turned into a shaker, those snowflakes are gorgeous and the snowman cards so fun. That dog is wishing for a belly rub, of course! :) Made me laugh! Great work Michele! xx
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Michele, these are all so wonderful! You both have so much fun together, though I'm sorry to hear you had car troubles. I'm glad to know you made it home safely. I'm a bit jealous that you got to snuggle with sweet little Isaiah. Snuggles like that can make all our troubles disappear. Anyway, I love how you used the Stamp Market set and that large snowflake. Isn't it a beauty??
ReplyDeleteIsn't life interesting? It sure has its ups and downs like a roller coaster. I'm so thrilled for you to have been able to have such a fun and prolific play date with your good friend. Except for the car issues! I'm so sorry about those. I know all too well about those! I hope things are resolved there. But your cards. Your cards made me smile big time. I just adore seeing what you create and am so delighted with her creativity! Crafty hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards, all different and lovely. I really love how you have used that JOY die on this card and your other one. Have a great weekend.
