Leaf Fragments are from Tim Holtz and Sizzix and I loved the card that came with the gift so very much I recreated it! I couldn't help myself giving them all the Halloween colors I love and a little bit of glow using Tim's foundry wax!
My cover panel started with a piece of curry paper that was debossed
using my favorite plate from Altenew then lots of distress ink was added - a little random swiping with a mini-Versamark pad was then heat embossed in gold.
This fun sentiment from PTI's Spooky set was just the ticket!
Finally, a smattering of PF gems and my haunting was complete!
But before you think they can only be spooky, check them out in these gorgeous colors...
brought her leaves to life didn't she? Love you, my friend!
WOW! Spooky but so classy and fun, Michele! The bits of gold add an elegant touch! The leaves on your second card are just as fantastic with a totally different feel! Stamping friends are the BEST!
ReplyDeleteOh what beautiful leaves! Your Halloween version is beyond spooktacular and I love the colors on the second version. They pop right off the white base. Donna's card is amazing too! Wowee, you ladies outdid yourselves!

ReplyDeleteWow, wow, WOW! Michele, your first card is stunning! Oh my, it blows me away. Your second card is beautiful, but my eye is drawn to the moody colors and touches of gold. What a generous friend and what beautiful cards you created with your lovely gift! Thanks so much for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThose leaves are GLOWING!!! So beautiful, and I love the CAS design of the cards.
ReplyDeleteoooh those colours. 3 gorgeous card but the first one has to win the prize xx
ReplyDeleteBoth cars are so magnificent that I could never pick a favorite, Michele. I do like the colors on the Halloween one that give it a glow and that sentiment is wonderful too. The blue/yellow is much softer and has a great matching die cut sentiment.
ReplyDeleteOMG....Loving all 3 of your cards using different color combinations and different occasions, Michele...Your die cut Leaf Fragments and Distress Oxide Inks and background textures are Stunning...Thank you so much for sharing and always Inspiring, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy

ReplyDeleteWow! This first card is totally different from the one I commented on just now, Michele! It's spooky and gorgeous!! Love the color combo of the leaves and the way you've treated the background (even that glowing effect)! This truly showcases the versatility of your card-making talent! The second card and Donna's card are beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
I'm really behind again Michele, so bear with me while I try and catch back up over this week! I love these leaves, especially in the "spooky" colors! The gold, orange, purple and yellow look amazing and totally give the spooky vibe. But then the other colors look amazing too! I love the greens, blues and other colors, can be fall-ish or a summery vibe. Very fun cards! Hugs, Brenda
