If anyone asks me 'who is your favorite company?' Altenew comes to mind! Turns out I may have a few sets to choose from for my Double D Altenew Collaboration card. This one jumped right out of the box...
I first stamped two of the bouquets from their Craft-your-Life Project: Casual Bouquets onto 80# Neenah solar white cardstock. Then came the stenciling using the coordinating stencils and these Altenew inks...
From there it was a matter of arranging and creating my card panel - in this case I cut it using a wonky stitched die from MFT and used those same stamps to add a little interest to the panel. BTW Altenew always has the most beautiful inspiration in their sets! I had to substitute the recommended reds but from there it was a breeze to stencil and cut with the coordinating dies!
There are a ton of fun sentiments in this set - do you like the way I overlapped these? Or does it make it very hard to read? Here's a closeup, just in case.
I want to thank Double D for the chance to win that wonderful prize from Altenew - this girl has a VERY long wish list that was only made longer by their fab DT!

I was honored to be in the Top 3!
This is a lush card Michele! The colours blend so well together and the wonky die was an inspired mat choice! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! So many details and I love the vivid colors - yet still wonderfully clean and fresh!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! I love how you did the subtle background stamping too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteStunning card! The soft combination of colors is beautiful. Love the sentiment. Thanks for sharing at the Double D "Stencils/AG" Challenge.
ReplyDeleteOooh, beautiful and fun stamp in pretty colors! Love the soft stamping in the background and I do like the overlapped sentiment. I'm glad you came to play with us at Double D!
ReplyDeleteOoh, so pretty, Michele! Love the colors of these flowers and that sweet stamping in the background!
ReplyDeleteI see a winner in this one! Fabulous card -- your photography is excellent too :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card, my favorite part is the pale stamping background on the panel. Very eye catching.
ReplyDeleteNot sure my comment made it through...Very lovely card, the light stamping background on the panel is my favorite part.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this set! Such a pretty card, Michele. The colors are just perfect for those flowers. The subtle ones in the background and your overlapped sentiment all look great!
ReplyDeleteI would have said Altenew was your favorite company too Michele! LOL I love this gorgeous card, your flowers are just stunning and I love the colors you used to stencil them with. I also very much like the sentiments overlapping some or as I like to say, "snuggled up to each other"! LOL That background is subtle but adds so much to the card. Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWOW...absolutely GORGEOUS Michele!! Love the colors, the wonky stitching, and stamping the images in the neutral ink color too for the background!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteA beautifully created floral card and I for one love the overlapped sentiment, very creative!! Good luck in the draw!!

Such a beautiful card! Thank you for sharing, my friend! I hope you win!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one Altenew set I don't have, Michele. I thought we were supposed to use Build a Garden sets for the challenge and I didn't bring any of those. If you can use any Altenew set I'm ready. I love the colors you used and the light stamping on the background.
ReplyDeleteLove the bold flowers with the soft stamped background... what a fabulous set (which I do not have may I add lol).
ReplyDeleteI know the folks at Altenew are in awe when they see your creations with their beautiful stamps! Beaufully done!
ReplyDeletePretty! Wonderful colors and details -- and your overlapping sentiment adds your own personal touch. While I like it, Hubbs would think it's destracting and harder to ready (but then again, I am the younger of the two of us 😉) so I think it really depends on your preference and the age of recipient.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card I just love those colours you really have brought to life that beautiful set, it looks so pretty against the gorgeous base panel with its subtle colour. The sentiment wasn't difficult to read at all.
