Freshly Made Sketches #593

Karren is our host for Freshly Made Sketches #593 and she shared a fun 'bridge card' fun-fold technique that I'd never heard of before.  Leave it to Jen McG. to make it as simple as can be!  [Karren shared the link and her own beautiful card here]

I had yet another wonderful win - this one over on Instagram from a new company from an incredible artist: Alex Syberia Designs.  Here is the reason I took part in her Hop... another gorgeous tulip for my ever-growing collection: Tulips Treasure!

Alex Syberia Designs' home is in the UK, but I'm happy to report that we can find her products right here in Michigan at Paper & i  and at SSS as well!

Side view ... and a way to add a sentiment without a 'kick stand.'

There are oodles of fabulous goodies in this prize package - more to come very soon!  For now, I'd better get this card in Karren's gallery!  Have you made a bridge card?  I'm sure they'd love to see it!

  10. You must be overrun with tulips by now but I can see why you wanted this one for your own, Michele. It is lovely and beautifully colored. It spans that bridge perfectly. I saw that video and thought of it when I saw the challenge but I think my time is running out.

  11. Wow, what a cool fun fold card Michele! I love that you won this set of tulips, they are gorgeous as is your card! I love the sketch, but I love how it was turned into a fun fold card even more. You were so clever to put a pocket on the back to hold a sentiment and message, such a cool idea! I've not heard of this company, but you know me, I live under a rock. LOL I'm off to check out how this card was made. Hugs, Brenda

Love the colors of the tulips, and the back pocket for the sentiment piece! The subtle texture of the front panels and the soft green polka dot background are really nice touches.
