I can easily be enabled to shop - case in point: THIS darling card from Color Hues DT member Karen Walker had me searching the web and shopping ebay of all places! I was very happy with the deal I got and overjoyed with my first play with it today! Thanks, Karen AND the gals at Four Seasons Summer Season for the lemons!
Spellbinders' Lemon Zest die set; EH Squeeze the Day for my sentiment.
Pinkfresh Studio: Slimline Ornate Banner used to cut PTI Prairie Grass Bitty Big plaid.
PTI Lemon Tart cardstock for the lemons, enhanced with CP Limoncello ink.
The Stamp Market Leafy and Avocado greens for stems and leaves.
I'm spending the rest of my day water-coloring one of my Betterpress-ed panels - more soon!

ReplyDeleteIt was worth the hunt Michele...this card turned out FABULOUS!! I love the two toned leaves and all the impressions on the lemons too! And of course the sentiment!! Awesome card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThose lemons are lemonalicious for sure! They look real enough to squirt me in the eye! What a refreshing card! I love your diecut background too!

ReplyDeleteYour zest is best!!
ReplyDeleteI researched a number of lemon dies after CREATE and fell in love with a different one but yours is fabulous, Michele. I love that plaid in the background.
ReplyDeleteYour lemons look so bright and luscious, Michele! The sweet flowers and plaid background are perfect accompaniments to the bright lemons!
ReplyDeleteThose lemons were meant to be in your hands! Heaps and heaps of summer prettiness, Michele!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card, I love the pun sentiment!
ReplyDeleteLemon tell you this is fabulous! Love the color palette and the card size. Summery perfection. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've been enabled a time or two myself, and usually I end up with more than I bargained for. Yep... looking at my basketful right now. Love this so much! Yellow is my favorite, and I adore a citrusy card. You got it just right with the perfect paper and slimline design. You'd be surprised how many lemon sets I window shopped recently. I'm currently in a self-imposed no-buying spell and it's not easy.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on Karens card. love that plaid background xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out! I'm behind in everything crafty, including blog posts. Trying to do some serious cleaning and organizing before Sarah and her family arrive on Friday. BUT, I do love your lemon card! You have the perfect sentiment for it as well.
ReplyDeleteI love your lemon card Michele! I can see why you had to have this set. LOL Lemon dies and stamps are so popular right now. Fun fact, I have half a lemon each night before bed. It helps with the sinuses and keeps Kidney stones at bay. Wish I had known this the first 22 years of having stones! Lemons not only make beautiful cards like yours, but they are good for you too! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh Michele this is absolutely awesome! Very nicely done! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Four Seasons Challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back again soon.
