I have a new pastel paper and ink in my stash, and a brand-new cover die to test, too! Now I ask you, who can resist those lilacs?? Thanks, Four Seasons, for the lovely Spring 2023 inspiration!
Sunny Studios Lovely Lilacs, Altenew Rounded Rectangles for the vase that I wrapped with a scrap of green and tied with a little linen twine, and the cover die? Pinkfresh Studios Floral Lace to cut C&9th Lilac cardstock.
Another sentiment from that Waffle Flower Hello Friend combo set completes my card.
We had a beautiful weekend on Mackinac Island - it is everything we heard it would be! we're so happy to check it off our list! It is a gorgeous step-back-in-time to a Victorian era and so wonderfully preserved and cared for.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is GORGEOUS Michele!! Your Lilacs are so pretty and I love your new background die...the two combined make for perfection! Lovely, lovely card!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Michele. I've never seen such beautifully detailed lilac stamps before. I'm adding these to my wish list for sure!
ReplyDeleteYou do rock out floral cards! I do love lilacs too :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card Michele, those lilacs are so lush.
ReplyDeleteThat cover die is so CUTE! You have a lot of cover dies and I love 'em all! I've noticed Sunny Studios has some of the best layering stamps. These pretty lilacs are a case in point. I'm totally loving your card, Michele!
ReplyDeleteHow on earth have I missed these lilac stamps? They're my favorite flower on the planet and I love this card! That new cover die of yours is perfect with the lilac blooms. This is a whole lot of pretty, Michele!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed your weekend, I've never heard of it before so must 'Google' where it is. Loving your pastels, I have a 'pastel' card in my head today that I thought of when I was swimming my laps... I hope it turns out as pretty as this one.
ReplyDeleteSweet card, Michele, I love that darling cover die & beautiful lilacs -- mine are already gone so I'll have to enjoy yours for awhile!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card. I can almost smell those lilacs! Mine were blooming so nice, then it has basically been raining almost non stop, so I haven't been able to really smell them. Darn. But yours are just lovely. I like the coverplate, too. Welcome home. I'm so happy you enjoyed your getaway. I'll bet you got some fabulous pictures, too. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful lilacs, Michele! I love the shading and your mod vase! Another fantastic background too!
ReplyDeleteSo happy your getaway was wonderful! Your card is gorgeous. The lilacs are gorgeous and look so real with the shades of purple you used... and that that cover plate is to die for. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, lilacs are a favorite of mine and in June on Mackinac Island they have a lilac festival, I actually have a lilac bush I purchased from there years ago, It finally after seven years bloomed last year for the first time and it is BIG! A gorgeous card you created!!

Oh Michele this is just BEAUTIFUL! Purple is my favorite color so of course your card screamed out to me! Love your lilacs and I'm sure this is going to make the recipient a very happy person. My lilacs are in bloom and in fact I brought a bouquet in and placed in a vase in the kitchen ... smells so lovely!

I sure can't resist lilacs, the smell is heavenly! Your card is just gorgeous Michele, those lilacs are stunning and I see that they are from Sunny Studio-should have figured as they make things look so life like when you stamp the layers. I am loving that cover die too! Glad you enjoyed your trip for your anniversary, it sounds like a beautiful place to visit! Another thing checked off the bucket list-love it! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job getting those lilac layers to line up on this gorgeous card. I've got this set and find it quite fiddly to get it lined up correctly.
