One stamp TWO challenges!

I made a wonderful lunch and Tom volunteered to do the dishes - I'm not passing up on that opportunity and will take this time to post the cards I made yesterday for Color Hues #57: Coral and Sage, and my take on Freshly Made Sketches #571!

I was so happy to revisit Pinkfresh Studios' Miss Your Smile stamp and stencils.  First up for Color Hues, these are the shades of Coral and Sage inks I used:

Stamped first in Pigment's Glow ink, then layered the coral and sage inks with
each of the four stencils in the set.

Slimline cards are always so hard to photograph, aren't they?!

Jen M's sketch was the instigator of that slimline card... here's my card for her and I hope she doesn't mind that I flipped her Sketch:

Here is Jen's Sketch - can you see it?? fingers crossed!

Hope you're getting your craft on this weekend!!  It is bitter cold here so I'm happy to stay in!

  5. These are ahhhh-mazing! What fantastic, stately cards in all their tall slim glory. Love the colors. Coral and sage are some of my faves, plus the orchid color in your second card... another favorite! I can see the sketch. It's a stretch (hahahahaha), but I can see it.

Great take on the sketch, flipping the image! Your photo styling is wonderful too. You even matched the color of your watermark to your cards! Love your attention and care for your cards. Good for Tom to volunteer to do the dishes!

  25. Two fab cards Michele, the first looks fab in the Color Hues colours and the second looks equally great and certainly packs a punch. I agree, slimline cards are tricky to get in frame, you get left with a load of nothing unless you crop! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues. :)
