I usually shut down after dinner for a little mindless TV but last evening I couldn't resist Gina K on Craft Roulette! Mary Gunn had SOOO much FUNN with her Episode #152 guest star! We did, too!
After the spin of the wheel, we were left with these card parameters:
Hinge +
Kraft [and any other color according to Mr. Producer] +
Outside my Window +
Faux leather [yikes]
Here is how I accomplished my card while watching their shenanigans!
Yes, my window hinges open ~
Kraft woodgrain paper ~ card base and sentiment speech bubble
Flowers Outside my Window ~ in my dreams!
That planter is surely a good 'faux' leather boot, right?
While all these supplies were still out at 8 this morning, why not
make another card just for fun - and without the pressure!?
Thanks, Mary and Gina K for a great deal of FUNN!

Ack! Love these cards with the darling stamps and wood grain paper! Your creative mind works quickly and brilliantly. How funny to think of a gnome outside your window, and the boot planter is great for the faux leather. Brilliant I tell you!
ReplyDeleteWell you had fun and were productive the next morning...thats a win win and so are these adorable gnomes and that boot...what a fab planter. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteWell someone had a fun time instead of watching mindless TV! LOL I love your card using the card parameters that were given. Such a cute window scene! The boot made for a great container for those flowers as well as working as faux leather! In another month or two we should be seeing some flowers outside our windows for sure! Love the second card as well, the purples look lovely and another cute scene with beautiful flowers. I love the snail, how cute is he?!! You gnomes are adorable too. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWow, I guess I will have to try to watch that myself! Both your creations are woodsy, leathery and warm!! Of course, anything Gnomey is finey with me too!
ReplyDeleteI happened upon the replay and watched it this morning. I saw you were there, Michele. I guess I wasn't in a very card making mood because I couldn't think of anything to make but your darling gnome peeking through the window at his flower planted boot is just perfect. I love the other one you did too.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that Gina was going to be on Craft Roulette, I KNEW it would be a blast, I was at work but can't wait to watch!! They are both such fun amazing women (just like you)! ps love your cute cute design!
ReplyDeleteoops missed the 's' lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my! How fun are these, my friend! Love that woodgrain detail, the leather boot and fun gnomes! Hope you are having a good weekend and staying warm.
ReplyDeleteThis is cuteness times two!! I love that little fella waving at us from the window and the rich wood with the lovely wisteria colors on the other one is incredible. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin' adorable Michele! These gnomes will never go out of style in my book. I've never heard of Craft Roulette before. Is it on YouTube?? I'll have to search it up. Love your sweet cards!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Your cards are just fantastic. Love your coloring and of course your wonderful creativity!
ReplyDeleteSweet and adorable, there's no obvious signs of pressure on the first card! Both cards are just fun, Michele
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so adorable, Michele! You did a great job of usinging the card parameters to make the first card. The gnomes are cutest, and the speech bubble caught in the window made me smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe sponging on the woodgrain cs makes it look like a real wooden frame!
Hideko xx
I am going to have to head over to craft roulette and check it out. sounds like quite a challenge and you have pulled it off really well. So clever, I can never do those things, my brain just freezes up xx
ReplyDeleteThese are so totally cute (under pressure or not!)
ReplyDeleteYour gnome cards are definitely Funn! What a great idea Mary came up with for having fun and making cards with friends! I catch her videos once in a while and they always make me laugh! I don't think I could work that fast!
ReplyDeleteIt's Thursday, and I think I would still be trying to come up with something with those parameters. Fabulous makes, no surprise.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I think I would just freeze if I had to make a card with such specific requirements. Well done, you!
