Darlene and Diane have the most wonderful inspiration for their
Double D Challenge this month -
HOT Beverages are the way to go here in Michigan at the moment!
This little marshmallow fellow couldn't agree more!
I've combined the bottom two photos to design my card...
An older set from Elizabeth Craft Designs comes out to play each year.
Marshmallow Snowmen - CS0104 and dies 1578
He's balancing on my Hot Tub Mug of chocolate - the Casual Friday die again.
All these sweet little characters were stamped in CP icing on the cake ink
and clear heat-embossed.
Very simple water coloring with distress inks and they were ready for my card.
That darling scalloped base is from PTI - Altenew Snowflakes - MFT whip cream card [no longer available - drat!]
I am not a hot tub gal - but cocoa is sounding pretty tempting right now!

a perfect cup for winter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card Michele, I am loving that little marshmallow guy...too cute! A great inspiration photo to draw inspiration from too. Yep, need the hot drinks now don't we?!! lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun images Michele! Love that snowman straddling the mug, the fun splatter and all the white on white!
ReplyDeleteIt would be a shame to eat this delightful marshmallow snowman! But there's nothing better than marshmallows in the hot chocolate! Love the snowflake dies that add even more interest to this delightful design! I hope you are staying warm.
ReplyDeleteThis is incredibly adorable. Wish I had gotten that mug when I had the chance. Hope you are weathering the weather!
ReplyDeleteI like his balancing act, this is adorable! I could go for hot chocolate too, it's blustery and cold!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully sweet and wonderful, Michele. That little guy is so cute balancing so carefully. I so enjoy your humor and creativity. I'm also so happy to see that you pull favorites out and use them again in fun new ways. Thanks so much for sharing this delightful card. :)
ReplyDeleteAdorably cute card and design, the little marshmallow fellow is perfect, I just purchased a marshmallow set myself and can't wait to use it! Thanks for joining our challenge at Double D!

So so cute! Who wouldn't adore this? Now I want some cocoa!!! The background is amazing too...very distinctive but subtly done with white on white!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at hot cocoa! I love a great cup of homemade cocoa, and your sweet mallow man is enjoying his steaming
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'm seeing all kinds of cute stuff I love here! Your marshmallow guy is adorable, and the sentiment, the candy cane sticks on the mug. Love that heart handle. Just the way you put it together is so creative. There's even a little heart splatter. Dang! I'm happy you played along at Double D!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute marshmellow and candy cane critter to top your yummy cup of cocoa, Michele. TFS and Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to go and get a 'hot beverage' right now... though it won't be as sweet as this one!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's teetering on the edge, Michele. Wonderful card design with so many great elements to catch the eye. I'm so glad they make a dairy free hot chocolate mix.
ReplyDeleteI see I have got behind in my visits. Love your little marshmallow snowman balancing in the cup. I hope he survives, but I fear he doesn't. Great splatters, especially the little heart, was that deliberate? xx
ReplyDeleteI can see I'm waaaaaay behind on commenting now that your blog doesn't update for me...stupid blogger!! But anyway, this card is absolutely ADORABLE Michele, and I'm totally loving your marshmallow snowman! You're making hot cocoa sound really, really good right now!! Hugs. :0)
