I recently invited my friend Marcia to my house for a playdate! As usual she brought a few of her new goodies to share with me! I needed that day more than I can tell you! We laughed, we cried, we stamped and ATE!
This little It's a Wrap Posy Pocket die from The Greetery is the thing we agreed to play with and also to share with all of you! I had so much fun filling one that I had to fill the other, too!
I found that the Altenew Tulips I love so much fit pretty well inside that sweet wrap and The Greetery's Winterberry Bouquet provides the perfect greenery/filler! Don't you love that sweet little bow?
Since it was pretty full, I decided to keep my card CAS but
added a fun Waffle Flower Craft Stitched Diamond panel for interest.
The foiled sentiment was ready to go [also from Waffle Flower - Hey, there!]
has anyone ever seen orange lavender?? Hey, that's the fun of cardmaking!
I can stamp them anyway I'd like, right?
Actually, it was just because I found this Neat & Tangled tag among my snippets
and the color just looked so pretty with the PTI Bitty Big paper I cut the wraps from that I decided to stamp the lavender in shades of orange.
A few sprigs [Altenew Wildflower Garden] and a PFS sentiment and
it's a Wrap!
Thanks so much, Marcia, for sharing your goodies, and your shoulder - xx I'm on my way over to see how you filled your wraps! I know you'll knock my socks off!

Oh my gosh Michele!! You've filled both of these wraps so beautifully!! I absolutely love the tulips and leaves from the Winterberry set in the wrap, and the white on white background is a fabulous backdrop!! And your orange lavender...LOVE it!!! What a great idea and it looks perfect with the tag in the background!! You definitely wrapped both cards up beautifully!! It was a wonderful play day and can't wait for the next one!! Hugs. 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteI'm envious, my friend! How I would love to have been there. Your wraps and bouquets are so pretty! I love the orange lavender!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had such a great creative time my friend, these cards are glorious!!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly know how to wrap things up perfectly! Gorgeous bouquets! So glad you two got together!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautifully wrapped bouquets! I love what you've filled and backed them with too. I adore the paper you used on the first wrap. I wish PTI would bring that back. We had it in red for a 12 Kits and I loved it so much! Sounds like the two of you had just the kind of day you needed! XO
ReplyDeleteWaht a beautiful result from your playdate! I'm so happy for you to have been able to spend that time with your friend. The resulting cards are so lovely and the lift to your soul sounds heavenly! Hope you are having a great week. Crafty hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are wonderful, so colourful and vibrant and who cares if those flowers are supposed to be lilac, it really doesn't matter. They are fabulous in those hot colours and I love how you have added background interest on both cards xx
ReplyDeleteHow fun it sounds to have an actual play date! Sweet stuff here, Michele! I always love a splash of color against a lot of white and you certainly do have that. Love your wraps with their pretty patterns and all those lovely botanicals inside!
ReplyDeleteYour orange lavender is a hit with me, Michele! In fact both cards are smashing!! The first bouquet with the tulips and berries..... perfection!! So glad to hear that you and Marcia got to spend some amazing and much needed time together. Stamping friends are the best!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love them both but I AM partial to that second one...those are MY colors, my dear! Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of flowers in both of your wonderful bouquets, Michele. It looks like that wrap can handle anything. So glad you and Marcia had a fun and productive time. Wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeleteMichele, these cards are gorgeous! What's new there?!! lol You ladies had a great time it sounds like. I love when friends share their supplies with each other. I love that posy wrap pocket, so cute...kind of reminds me of a mussy tussy. Your beautiful tulips and greenery fill the pocket up nicely. Loving the background you used too, keeps the card cas but adds so much texture/eye candy. OMGosh, I love that mini lavender set! This card is gorgeous too, who says your flowers are lavender?! They look like some grass plums, or a fall plant of some sort. I love these colors and works perfectly for fall as well as summer. Yep, I love these! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSounds like you and Marcia had another playdate!
ReplyDeleteYour wraps and bouquets are so pretty! The tulips look gorgeous against the white-on-white stitched diamond panel, and the orange lavender looks great against the coordinated background. I'm off to see Marcia's card!
Hideko xx
Really gorgeous flowers and those wraps are just too fun
ReplyDeleteIt would be totally fun to have an in-person play date with you, Michele, so when can you get to NZ? :). Such a gorgeous card and I love how the different companies' products can play together so nicely.
