While I had those Anemones out, I decided to attempt another, much different take on Jenny's Inspiration Challenge at Altenew!
Altenew's Rounded Rectangle dies are a go-to in my stash. This time, I stamped
a bit of 'linen' to a green and yellow card stock with their Rustic Linen stamp before cutting the frames, and for fun the leaves in the Build a Flower Anemone. Here are the inks I used today:
Are you playing along, too? There's plenty of time!

Oooo I love the rounded rectangles! And the colors you used are terrific together! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWoWZERS! The hiatus must have sparked your creativity something fierce. Seems it's sparking right out of the tips of your fingers. So much going on here with this cards. You've nailed the ispirartion colors and added tons of texture and interest in the process. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love the way you used that little rounded rectangle die... This is so very beautiful. What a great idea to use the linen stamp as you did. I love this.

ReplyDeleteThis is bright and happy! Just what I needed to shake away the winter blues!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the effects of the Rustic Linen stamp on your colored cardstock, Michele! Such a stunning layout, too...looks like a winner to me ~ Good luck on the challenge!
ReplyDeleteThe colors and blooms are spot on for the inspiration but my favorites are the linenized leaves and fun frame! PS, waiting to peek until Wed. morn
ReplyDeleteGsoh...this is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to stamp the linen onto the green and the fun leaves as it looks so effective. Striking design and a fabulous take on the challenge Michele x.
ReplyDeleteLove that wonderful green, such lovely contrast with the pink flower. I was looking at it and wondering how you got the textured look and see that it is a stamp, very effective and a wonderful design with those rounded rectangles xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty anemone, Michele! Love the rounded frame background with the linen stamping that adds a feeling of texture!
ReplyDeleteLove all that green linen, Michele, and the flower is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Michele and the way you have used those rectangles is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is such a pretty anemone, Michele! I love the pop of vibrant colors and the linen texture you added to the leaves and the frame. The way you used the rounded rectangle frame is creative! Opening the center of the green panel gives the card open feelings, and you used the inside die cutout for the sentiment strip! (right?)
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
I'm playing catch-up on unread blog posts and this card is a beauty! The anemone looks 3D and the "linen" rectangles add interest without detracting from that gorgeous flower!
