I have a dear friend who belonged to the Red Hat Ladies group while living in New York - this card, and the Color Hues challenge #32, was made for her!
Another new set from The Stamp Market: Bell Flower - I really love that sentiment! That little braided oval from Pinkfresh Studio was made for this duo, don't you think?
Lovely way to combine those colors!
ReplyDeleteOh this is stunning, Michele! So clean and simple, yet packing a punch with the colors on that flower! LOVE it!! Thanks so much for joining us at Color Hues!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful clean and simple take on this colour combo!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous CAS card! I love the way you blended the colors on the sentiment. I'm always so glad to see you in the gallery at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteI think your friend is going to enjoy this, I do! Love your bright pops of color with all the crisp white!
ReplyDeleteMasterful CAS design, Michele! My eye is immediately drawn to the gorgeous bell flower, of course, but also to the texture of the oval. Amazing pairing along with a sentiment that makes my heart so happy. In awe, as always!
ReplyDeleteYes ....the pretty braided oval is perfect with the beautiful sentiment Michele and what a darling of a card.....So fresh and so very pretty x.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This is one gorgeous flower and soooo pretty in the red and purple hues!! (why don't I have Sangria...love that color!!) And yes, I do believe that PFS die was made for that flower AND the sentiment!! The whole card is just BEAUTIFUL Michele!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Michele. So vibrant and elegant. Love the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI am not a wine drinker but if it tasted as fabulous as that Sangria looks on your flower I’d be in trouble! Wow!’
ReplyDeleteSwear this is a winner. You've obviously left your slump behind because this one is outstanding. Rich, rich color and lovely white broken up by the beautiful oval. You're right, that sentiment is perfect. You are a master at designing your cards.
ReplyDeleteLove the deep colors and the simplicity of the layout! That oval would get lots of attention at my house! Beautiful card and Happy New Year to you! Thanks for playing along at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use these colors, Michele! Love those red flowers with the deep purple centers! Doing the sentiment in both colors is a wonderful idea and I love that oval die cut!
ReplyDeleteI love how the Sangria adds the shadows to the red on your gorgeous flower, Michele. I used to be a Red Hatter too and I still have one of my hats.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love the sangria color as well. Not sure how I feel about them replacing the others. I rather liked them.
ReplyDeleteOh yes another stunner here again Michele, I really love all of your creations as you know ;) hugs Viv xx
ReplyDeleteThose colours look really amazing agains the white. Such a lovely clean card. When it is not covid times I volunteer as a tour guide for a building in London and once did a tour for the red hat ladies, they were good fun and had so many different hats, it was a joy. Hope those days come back again soon xx
ReplyDeleteSaw this on Instagram and fell in love Michele!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making my color duo shine this week!
The bright bell flowers with the white braided oval in the background are so pretty, Michele! The color matching two-tone sentiment is a wonderful touch! Your friend will love the card.
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
This bloom is gorgeous in red and I really love your oval panel, Michele!
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar with that Red Hat Ladies group, too...hey, anyone who can pop on a red hat gets kudos from me :)
Yup I have not been on line for a while but this beauty with Red and Purple makes me smile!!
