Yes, you read that correctly - and I'm here to remind you to play along with us at The Flower Challenge, as we must add leaves to our mandatory flowers this month! Often the easiest thing for me - the leaves are so beautiful to me!
I am honoring the lovely Poinsettia this month - also easy for me as it is a favorite at Christmas! Here is that lovely layered one from Uniko again - in varying shades of red, and pink:
I've loved how creative and gorgeous you have been so far - you have a few more weeks to use those lovely leaves AND flowers before the door closes on our challenge!

CAS and absolutely BEAUTIFUL Michele!! Those different colored Poinsettia's are SO pretty and I love the green you used for your leaves too...it totally pops against all that white! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteThat is a colorful array of poinsettia, Michele. I need to take lessons on how to do sentiments. You have a way with adding them to your card in just the right manner.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Michele. That is a fabulous poinsettia, love the tones.
ReplyDeleteOh so very beautiful my friend... and in one of my fave colour combos too!
ReplyDeleteThese poinsettias are gorgeous in the traditional colors, my friend! Love the way you've arranged them with the sentiment tab tucked into the bottom flower. Wow!

ReplyDeleteMarisela Delgado said: Hola, Michele! What a gorgeous card! Fabulous colors, too. ☺ Squirrel Wars update: I have taken control of the situation. I found a natural, safe, and inexpensive solution. Are you ready? CAYENNE PEPPER! I did some research and they hate spicy smells especially cayenne so off I went to Sam's Club. Guess what? It works, my friend. I don't know if it would repel rabbits from your neighbor's yard, but it turned things around here. Yay! Have a beautiful day, Michele, and Happy Thanksgiving! ☺☺☺ Marisela mariandmonsterd@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteFabulous color palette, Michele! Your poinsettias are so pretty and I love that you stamped your sentiment in green!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this modern poinsettia stamped in such beautiful colors too! I wonder if just using a poinsettia without greenish leaves counts? I think the red petals are leaves too, right?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Poinsettias are perfect for this theme, as they are actually leaves :)! The added leaves in your card make it look more festive! Love your design!!!
