I'm normally not a rainbow and Unicorn kind of girl, but let me tell you... I just can't stop playing with this sweet wonky Rustic Rainbow from Waffle Flower! Good thing they keep having Challenges to use them again, and again! Thanks, ladies, for Week 3's inspiration!
Using blending brushes to color my rainbow arches helps to keep the colors more pastel...
My husband thinks my card is magical ... hope Waffle Flower does, too!
JJ's Oversized Rainbow combo completes my rainbow cards so perfectly!
a bit of me inside: I have a latte to share with you - let's have a cuppa soon!
Even if my day doesn't begin with a rainbow, it always seems brighter after my first cuppa!! My big mug was created with WF's Nested Domes dies - those steamy clouds [attached to heavy acetate] are the perfect counter balance to keep my cup upright!
Hope your day is magical!
=] Michele
Your words have cheered me my friend, I'm hoping my day gets better after a cuppa.... and it's in my hand now. LOVE all the elements on your card from the layered sentiment , side rainbow and acetate popped up clouds, they are ALL so very clever!
ReplyDeleteWell this cup is definitely magical - thanks to that acetate your clouds are just floating in air! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSweet, the muted shades are fun.
ReplyDeleteHe's right! Love those little floating clouds and your clever mug. CUTE card!
ReplyDeleteSo clever...just love the card.
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to create a mug using the rainbow as a handle. My first "cuppa" always brightens my day. A safe and happy 4th to you!
ReplyDeleteOh Michele, your creativity is off the charts. What a fantastic card! I love the whole design. I so appreciate all you share! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite rainbow and I think it's very clever of you to use it as the handle on your mug with the clouds of steam! Magical indeed! BTW, this popped up in my email this morning. Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while but your rainbow handled cup is so clever, Michele. You did get soft blend with the brushes. I think I need practice because mine come out too dark.
ReplyDeleteYou are way to clever of a lady Michele! I love this rainbow coffee cup! It's genius, it's fun, it's clever and of course only you would think to do this. I love the rainbow handle, so stinking cute, but then there are the clouds steam-omgosh that is just perfect! Love the sentiment too. Can't you just transplant part of your brain into mine-a few cells maybe? lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYour creativity abounds!!
ReplyDeleteYou are one clever crafter!!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI know I've said this before but it bears repeating...YOU"RE A FREAKIN' GENIUS. This one just laid me out on the floor, totally gob-smacked me and, once I got up, just made me shake my head. Such a creative mind to go with that sweet disposition. Truly love this card.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this I thought what an unusual and clever card love the clouds on acetate and the pastel colours, then I read more and realised it is a cup! I know, I can be a bit slow sometimes but now I have twigged, I absolutely love it, so clever. Is that a Catherine Pooler ink that you have stamped the sentiment with? Keep up the good work and have a great weekend xx
ReplyDeleteYou are SO DARN CLEVER!!! I LOVE that you made this into a cup. The little clouds are just darling!!
ReplyDeleteI so agree, your card IS magical! Such a clever design, and I lvoe the soft colored rainbow!
ReplyDeleteHow do you think of these things?!!! Using the rainbow as a mug handle is just SO MUCH FUN Michele!! I adore white on white cards and then adding that soft splash of color on the handle just totally makes me smile looking at this card, and I didn't even need the liquid to start my morning out right after seeing this sweet, SWEET card Michele...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteLove your pastel rainbow mug, Michele! This cup alone makes anybody happy, and latte inside makes them even happier! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful and clever design, especially the steam clouds!
