Okay who wants a cupcake? OMG these are too pretty to eat! and way off the charts extraordinary!
One in particular caught my eye - with the help of a friend, I had a few little blooms to help me create my Inspired By - Spring is Sweet card! See if you can find it... here's a little closeup...
Those little Forget-me-nots from The Greetery came to me cut from wonderful white.
Here are the inks I used to bring them to life:
Do you have a favorite? or do you fancy the whole bunch - my husband could eat every one! Hope your favorite inspires you to come play at IB169 today! Now let's go see what my teamies have baked up, shall we? ...
=] Michele
Scallops from PTI
Linen cardstock from EH
Leaves from Altenew's Nature's Blossoms
Cupcake paper cut with another W&W that is no longer available - but maybe you already have their Ring in the Celebration set?
MFT Stitched Circles for the frosting - cut from another panel sent to me from another kind friend - I have the bestest friends of all!
The cupcakes are indeed too pretty to eat and I feel the same about this card, too hard to part with, I would just enjoy this no-calorie perfection! Amazing card my friend, your forget-me-nots are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYep, I zeroed in on that gorgeous cupcake, Michele. I love how you've made those flowers and leaves look like they're made from fondant and the gorgeous swirls of the "icing"!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of my forget-me-nots when I saw the photo, but now how do I make something different from your fantastic card, Michele.
ReplyDeleteYes spotted the cupcake Michele and what cute little forget-me-nots x. Such a sweet card and a fabulous inspiration photo and yes I love all of them x.
ReplyDeleteThink you picked the prettiest one to depict on your cards. It is so pretty. How do you always know exactly how to enhance your focal points with interesting, unique backgrounds. It's beyond me.
ReplyDeleteCalorie free and as pretty as can be! I think both Shawn and Sweet P would give Tom a run for his money LOL!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, just perfect. No favourites for me, I could easily eat everyone xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, sweet cupcake you fashioned from the two circles Michele...love it! And the chartreuse and purple are SO lovely together and I'm so glad the little forget-me-knots worked out for you!! Beautiful card my friend...just beautiful!! (and I could eat all the cupcakes too...not all at once but I'd definitely work my way through them!! :0)) Hugs. :0)

This is amazing....yummy enough to eat! Those little flowers are just adorable and I love the subtle embossing!
ReplyDeleteThis is just wonderful. I love the way you created all of the elements of that beautiful cupcake from the cupcake cup to the flowers and leaves. The way you placed the cupcake on that tilted and off the edge scalloped panel is a fabulous detail, as is the little sentiment tab. Looks good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Michele! I know I say it a lot, but I so admire your eye for card design. You are very creative. This card is simply delicious! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, they certainly are some amazing cupcakes, way to pretty to eat, but I think I could manage. lol I love, love, love your take on the one cupcake (the second one in the top row??) I love the scalloped circle, like the wrapper, but it is those little forget-me-nots that steal the show and of course that cool background piercing. Love the scallop "cloud" it is sitting on and love the sentiment tab. Perfection in every way! Hugs, Brenda
