I'm still so accustomed to having two posts on Thursdays! Thought I'd let the mood strike for second helpings today!
My friend Marcia was so kind to share her lucky little CCC Shamrock mouse for my IB165 card with me, I returned the favor and tucked a little something in my thank you note! Hope you love them as much as I do, my friend!
What was it, you may be asking? a new little cutie from MFT called Sweet Celebrations from their newest artist Rachelle Anne Miller ... the dies are a must have, I think! I couldn't fussy cut those balloon strings to save my soul!
A real treat to have the two posts Michele x. What a darling of a card with fabulous cover plates and the cutest of flying little bear and bunny x. Wow to those balloons and Wow to you using all of those copics ....Amazing x.
ReplyDeleteYou could have a million posts a day and I would look at each and every one! These are ADORABLE!! What a fun way to color both of them in! The background on that first one, though...wowza!
ReplyDeleteYay for second helpings! Wonderful coloring on that adorable image, too!
ReplyDeleteWhy on earth would we even think of stopping you? Your cards make me happy, Michele! I am amazed at your coloring with all those COPICs. You are super talented. I LOVE the stitched lines on the background.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering ... who makes the cover plates? They are amazing!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I've seen the non-blended Copic coloring method. Love the look!
ReplyDeleteI like your non-blended Copic coloring even better than Yana's! And your watercolors are just as wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI say YAY for 2nd helpings too my friend! This image is just too CUTE and both your Copic colored (which is done beautifully I might add!!) and water colored rainbow of balloons totally make me smile! And the background...omg do I ever LOVE that!! And thank you, thank you for sharing some of the images with me...still sitting on my desk, but I will get to them soon!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious is this ever CUTE!! This is such a sweet set, I might have to do a little shopping ;) and your background... WOW!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I’ve never seen the non-blending colouring technique... amazing! And the texture from the cover plates ... love it! Which brand are they? Cheers
ReplyDeleteTwo sweet die cut critters with colorful Copics colored and DI Watercolored balloons. TFS both cards, Michele. Looked like you had so much fun. Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteThese are just as cute as can be! What a darling image and those balloons look so fun to color using any medium. Your choice to water color them paid off in amazing ways. I like the non blended coloring idea. Definitely a "must try".
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, Michele. I love every detail. Did you enjoy the technique on the first one? Isn't it amazing how many Copic colors you can add to a "simple" design? It looks terrific. And the second one looks wonderful, too. You are very good at the distess ink watercoloring/painting. Fun! And of course, I cannot forget the wonderful detail your background dies add. Delightful duo! Happy Weekend. Go get crafty. I may be shoveling for days if the predictions for the amount of white stuff we are hearing are true for my neck of the woods! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis sweet image has come alive with your coloring, Michele! Too adorable, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet image, Michele ... those tiny cuties hanging onto your wonderfully coloured balloons are just adorable ... the background texture is delicious! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely my favorite stamp set from the last release, Michele and you have made such a fun and festive card. Is that a mini slimline?
ReplyDeleteFabulous copic work and fabulous cards!!
ReplyDeleteWow, loving this card Michele! The cover plates are amazing on each layer of this card. I love that adorable image and of course you have colored it up perfectly with all those Copics. I can see why the dies are a must have, those balloon strings are thin! lol I also love this sweet image colored with DI's. You are so good at your coloring lady! Are you bad at anything? Me thinks not!!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at demonstrating how to use those cover plates, 3 in one card, amazing. Those little creatures look a bit shocked to be drifting away with their balloons. Love the bold colours too. You feel free to post as many times a day as you like, they are never a disappointment xx
ReplyDeleteLove your cuties colored both ways! How fun of you -- how many coverplates can YOU use in a single card? Who cares -- they're great!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I am so impressed that you used all those Copic markers, Michele! And, it paid off, too..your balloons are fabulous and I love how you watercolored the bear and bunny! My fave is how you paired all those cover plates to create the background...Genius idea!!! xx
ReplyDeleteThey really are cute! And sweet, and oodles of fun - right down to the darling wee mouse sitting atop of the fuschia hued balloon. Aww!

You have your finger on the pulse girl......what a great way to color.....I watched the video! I might even be able to try that! In th Emma time I will keep watching the sky for one of those adorable critters sailing by.....
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet, Michele! Your did a great job of non-blended Copic coloring on the balloons! The combination of the stitched backgrounds is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
They are the sweetest!! But I'm equally taken with the stitched background you created for them!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you rocked the colouring Michele, what a gorgeous and fun card!
ReplyDeleteIt's like you're reading my mind, Michele. I looked at this set too and then passed. We need a crafting day so I can borrow.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy this cutie is here with me. I love it to pieces. Thank you.
