Inspired By #167 - Spring into color!

I don't know about your neck of the woods, but mine is still feeling a bit chilly for tulips - that doesn't mean they weren't blooming in my craft studio, however!  Meet my paper garden... all for Inspired By #167!

Man alive, I must be ready for Spring - there's never been so much color on my blog!
Look at these tulips closeup, then check out all the inks I used!!
More than I've used all year! lol

I'm happy to be sharing this card with The Library Challenge #79:

There is a wonderful Dutch Tulip Festival here
in Holland, Michigan!

With bling, to boot!!

I sure hope you're looking forward to Spring - or maybe it has already SPRUNG where you live?  All the better to be INSPIRED to play along!!!
See you in the gallery!  Now let's go see what my IB teamies have planted, shall we?

  1. That's a cool inspiration photo! Looks like the flowers are painted, or maybe frosting? So neat. And your card is beautiful, too. You've painted with some lovely inks! I like the colors and the scalloped frame. The sentiment is so true. You always brighten my day with your delightful cards. Wish spring was here. Still melting from the last big storm, but we keep getting more snow. I think we've had 2 storms and one more due tomorrow. Not as much snow, but still makes it pretty white around here. LOL Have an amazing day!

  3. These tulips certainly brightened my day, as it is dreary and gray here in PA! Just gorgeous, you put ALL those colors to good use, my friend!

  5. One word...WOW! Stunning tulips, you must be so pleased with your stamping results because these bulbs really flash (do they even make flashbulbs anymore?). Love how your arranged them in that scalloped border. Hope Spring comes your way soon and chases the chill away.

  6. Still waiting for spring here, we have had the occasional few hours that felt like spring then the clouds and cold come back :( Love your tulips though and all those colours. I have just acquired 2 more sets of Catherine Pooler minis and have been enjoying testing them out today. How many layers on those tulips I wonder xx

  8. No color here yet. Just brown mud and dead grass!!! I LOVE the colors of your tulips and the arrangement you created. I like how you left part of the white panel hanging off the back like you did.

  12. GORGEOUS tulip eye candy... All those colors are put to wonderful use. Tulips are so beautiful and hopeful. There's a farm in PA not far from my home that has hundreds of tulip varieties. I am thinking about my yearly pilgrimage as I feast my eyes on your beautiful creation.

  14. I thought Spring had sprung my end but today we've had hail, snow flurries, winds and sunshine and calm....What's all that about?

  15. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The layering is just fabulous. We were in Holland two years ago, and it was glorious! We talked to a professional photographer who was taking photos, and he said it was one of the best years for tulips he could remember. Loved the downtown, too.

Your parrot tulips are stunning on this slimline card! The colors are so bright and cheerful just like in real life. I love the scalloped borders and the beautiful sentiment. 25. Your bright spring tulips are STUNNING, Michele! LOVE the slimline design with the pretty border. Gorgeous colour in your studio. I do have tulips on my deck, but they are still sitting in the starter containers and need to be potted out But they are blooming despite the neglect. :) xx
