Hi my friends! I'm interrupting my normal Monday chores to share a card I've made for Altenew's Monogram Contest! Yay!
I have a few of their mega alpha dies: X O U and M! Today, I've reached for the M and have made a fun anniversary card for my neighbors, Michelle & Marc! Can you not see dishes of M&M's candies included in their wedding decorations?
I've not made my card as colorful as those iconic candies, but think they'll love it just the same...
And as they say on Sesame Street.....today is brought to you by the Magnificent letter M! And your card is magnificent as well!
ReplyDeleteAnother winner here!! I LOVE the embossing on both the background and the M. I do not have any Mega letters. Nope, nope, nope. I cannot buy them!!
ReplyDeleteLooooove this...and they will too!
ReplyDeleteWell this is just as perfect as perfect can be and they are going to love it!
ReplyDeleteM is making magical a-More. Ok, your shades of gray and texture really make this a standout!
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is gorgeous! I bet they will be thrilled to receive this... I would be!
ReplyDeleteSo elegant, Michele ... soft, subtle, texture-y ... and just beautiful! P'raps M&Ms should come in this colour combo! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteMichele you've outdone your own style with this one. Magnificent.
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous card...(since magnificent was taken)! I'm sure your friends will adore it like we do. :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for an anniversary card, Michele! Love all the texture and the pop of the ampersand!
ReplyDeleteSo very classy and elegant.
ReplyDeleteCAS and just perfect for the M & M's celebrating their anniversary! And one of these days I'm just going to have to break down and buy that cover plate die...no matter how you use it it's always perfection Michele!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI can't even... this is so much fabulousness!
ReplyDeleteI hate that beep on the dryer...of course, yours probably sings, "Come To Me" when it's ready to be emptied. Mine doesn't. What I do have is deep admiration for this elegant wedding card. Layering those letters is simply brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThis is so elegant, Michele! I love how you stacked the alphas and the ampersand is so cool! Not to mention the gorgeous effect of your debossed Dotted Swirls...Looks like a winner to me! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and elegant anniversary card Michele! Love how you took an "M" and made this. I will have to keep this idea in my mind as I just love it. I'm telling you lady, I so want that mind of yours! lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOh No!!!! I just realised that I don't think that I have the Classic Alpha Die Set from Altenew.... how did that happen lol. This is M & M brilliant (even without the colour) and from one of my fave 'M's' too!
ReplyDeleteTerrific card, sure to be loved! -- on my way to the candy dish now...
ReplyDeleteVery elegant card for your neighbours, Michele. They are going to love this! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo thuMbs up, Michele! So classy.
ReplyDeleteJust stunning, love that you debased the large M too xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and thoughtful card for your friends. Very elegant a wonderful design x.
ReplyDeleteWhat a chic anniversary card, Michele! The layered M’s and ampersand, the debossed swirls, and the combination of the different fonts add so much interest to this monochromatic CAS card. Michelle & Marc will love it!
