Happy Valentines Day, my friends... I only have one true valentine who will receive his card tomorrow. But if a girl ever needs a friend - a gal-in-times of need is so appreciated! I'm unofficially taking over this day for those friends!
This card's for all of you... all the gals that offer a shoulder, an ear, a caring heart, and more support than I could ever hope for... I'm sending ...
and since it was made with an Artplorations Old Rose Prints stencil, then heat embossed with UT clear embossing powder, I'm also sending it over to the
Here is a little closeup of that fabulous shine:
What's a girl to do with those MFT die-cut letters? Make another you say? oh, okay... it's a nice day for a white wedding card!
and white heat embossed those Roses. I may go back and fill that O with pearls!
What do you think?
=] Michele
Edited to send one of these over to the Love Vibe Challenge at Stamplorations!! Maybe two?
OOOOOH! Girl, you will always be my Gal-entine, too. And you made those gorgeous, dimensional roses in my color...swoon. It's beautiful and the wedding card is just ast pretty...pearls or not (can't decide).
ReplyDeleteYou are SO clever...these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThey are both just beautiful and it is so nice to see you in the CAS Mix Up gallery. The little pop of red is the perfect finishing touch on your first card. How did you manage to heat emboss the vellum without it warping terribly? No don't fill the O, but if the pearls are small perhaps a few in the bottom, but really the card is perfect as it is xx
ReplyDeleteWowie! Two ahhh-mazing cards, Michele! I do so love the all white, but the yellow with the heart in the "love" has stolen transported me completely! What a treat to see this in our CAS Mix Up challenge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I think pearls in the 'O' would look great, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful, but it was the 'white wedding' that won my heart today. Happy Galentines Day to you my friend. Mwah x
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely gorgeous! Love them both, but I'm really in love with the white on white---the embossing on vellum is fabulous!

ReplyDeleteLOVE them both Michele!! The yellow rose card is so elegant and I'm loving that tiny pop of color with the red heart!! A perfect card for friendship!! And your wedding card is lovely as is...no pearls IMHO! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, Michele. Love the embossing through the stencil.
ReplyDeleteSWOON!! Oh goodness, I love both versions! Yes, I think that O would look quite lovely with pearls ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, Michele. HOpe you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. :) Right back at you! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Galentines Day to you!!! Both of these are stunning but I love the embossed vellum so much!
ReplyDeleteThese are both fabulous Michele! I love the raised texture from the UT embossing on the first card with the sweet little red heart. Love your Gal-In-Times idea!!
ReplyDeleteNot one, but two awesome cards using this technique, Michele! Love those yellow roses and the pop of that little red heart! And the wedding card is so elegant with or without pearls! Happy Gal-in-times day right back atcha, my sweet friend! And thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards, Michele!! Have a wonderful Valentine's Day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautifully created piece!
ReplyDeleteThe yellow roses are so shiny and pretty, Michele! I think yellow is my favorite color of roses. The clean die-cut LOVE makes a wonderful contrast to the lively rose background. The little heart in "O" is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe white on white wedding love card is elegant and beautiful. I love that you tilted "O" a little. Wonderful design with or without pearls. Happy Gal-in-times Day, my friend!
Hideko xx
With pearls, without pearls -- your cards are beautiful and perfectly orchestrated, My Friend!
ReplyDeleteI love your cards......and YOUR heart....
ReplyDeleteOMG..Stunning heat embossed stenciled yellow roses background, Michele. I LOVE how you used the negative die cut Love and placed the sweet tiny heart. Thank you for the Happy Valentine wishes too, my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your white heat embossed stenciled Roses on vellum for your 2nd card and the positive LOVE letters too. Your white on white is so elegant. TFS your beauties and sharing your 1st card with us at CAS Mix Up. Love and Hugs and...Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
Gorgeous rose bouquet, Michele!!! Both cards are beautiful! It would be awesome with some pearls or bling on the wedding card but it's already perfect as it is!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love these cards Michele! The gold/yellow roses for your gal-in-times is stunning. Love the color, the love is perfect as is the pop of red with that heart. These colors are so pretty together! But then there is the wedding card, love, love, love that one too. You are such a clever gal! Hope you had a beautiful Valentine with your honey! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy Valentine's Day, Michele! Heaven knows you are a truly great friend and you deserve all the love everyone leaves for you here!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are really gorgeous! I love your yellow roses, especially with all the shine you added to your design! Love your white-on-white wedding card, too...The tilted letter is perfect and I love how your heat embossing adds texture to the roses...so pretty, my friend!
I hope you and Tom had a nice Valentine's Day together ~ xx

ReplyDeleteI so love these 2 stencil embossed cards. What glorious texture and beautiful simplicity. Hope you had a happy hearts day. Spent mine at the beach with my guy and 2 dear women friends. We ate chocolate, lobsters and champagne garnished with raspberries and blackberries. Pretty decadent indeed!
