For Kari

Every once in a while I'm given another good reason to be on Instagram ... @kariavan recently lost her Dad.  I know that sorrow, many of us do.  Since Kari's Dad was a big bear and chocolate fan, she's asked for cards featuring both - 74 cards to be exact, one for each of his years on this earth.

    Yes, it is so hard to lose a loved one, so hard. My thoughts and prayers are with Kari as she navigates this hard journey. Your card pays such great homage to Kari's Dad! I love how sweet this card is, the background is fabulous. The little bear with his glasses and fudgesicle is too cute. Love those thin letters as well. Such a beautiful tribute to Kari's Dad.     So cute. BUT I'm giggling because that was always a swear phrase for me as a kid, "Fudge Bars"! My mother would have washed my mouth out if I had used the real word Oh $h_t
