CAS[E] this Sketch #403

I'm ready for the first CASE this Sketch of 2021 - how about you??

It's a beauty from Donna ... and it just so happens Santa brought me a package I could premier using her Sketch!

It started by choosing a few inks, and grabbing my blending brushes, and this lovely new set of Tranquility Rose Stencils from Altenew...

The stripes from Donna's Sketch were made by cutting my finished panel, and embossing the smallest two with a Stampin' Up subtle texture embossing folder.  Here's a little closer look...

After all those strips were reassembled, I placed my card in my Mini MISTI and stamped a sentiment from MFT* with the darkest of my oxide inks.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see Donna's card ... shall we?  See you there, and then I'll see you again in our CTS403 gallery, right?

  11. Wow, wow, wow!!! This card is stunning! First off, I didn't know there were layered stencils out-yes, I still live under my rock. lol Secondly, you did such a beautiful job of inking those stencils up, lining them up. I'm just in awe! So gorgeous is this card, the embossed stripes-they are so subtle, but yet so fabulous. I'm just so wowed right now. I don't even know what to say and THAT doesn't happen often! Hugs, Brenda

  13. That was very brave of you to cut the panel like that and it went back together so seamlessly, I am sure that would never have worked for me. Anyway the finished effect is stunning, I love it xx

  14. You talked about like minds, Michele. I used those same colors, minus Hickory Smoke for a card I did for JUGS that will show up in a few weeks. Plus I got that stencil too. I haven't had a chance to use yet though. I love how you used those subtle colors. So you!
