I know I've already met my limit of 2 cards today, but [since all my cards have been mailed] I've had a bit of play time with a new Distress Oxide ink: Speckled Egg - yes, it is new to me, you've probably had it for an age! Another new thing, too: Altenew's Dotted Starburst Debossing cover die! Okay... ready for my card for Christmas Kickstart #44?
I know one of you would have magically turned this into a shaker ... but I didn't want to cover up any of that cover plate! The little star was floating around in my snippets bin. All I did was add 'peace' in the perfect size from an old [no longer available] W&W set.
Those of you who know me well know that blue isn't my favorite color - this gorgeous shade has my heart!
Jaw drop! What a stunner, Michele. I love everything about your card. Speckled egg is a beautiful colour on it's own, but I've found it doesn't always mix well with others (sounds like me!). Thanks for wowing Shirley and me at Christmas Kickstart, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Christmas card, Michele! Your snowflake window is absolutely perfect with the dotted starburst cover die in the background...I love it! And, I'm loving the softness of speckled egg for this lovely CAS design!
ReplyDeleteGoooooooorgeous! You know me and I DO love blue! Wowza, this is a stunner!
ReplyDeleteEvery little thing flows together perfectly! Fabulous my friend!
ReplyDeleteI knew it, I just knew it.... when I saw that gorgeous dotted die I thunk to myself 'I know just the person who would adore this', I was right!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous! Wow! What a beauty.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! This is so beautiful and peaceful! You have used this color so beautifully and that snowflake die is making me wonder why I hadn't seen it when they had the sale? Love that little star too. Primitive stars are my favorites! Hope you have a peaceful day, my friend.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm....you could send this one to me, just sayin'. LOL! It's so elegant and beautiful! (My cards are all sent out too. I feel like I'm on vacation now. Ha!)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh this is so very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSee, I don't think of this as blue...it's so soft and warm and like a...well...bird's egg. That means new life and more beauty to me. Just like this card. I wouldn't have covered up that gorgeous panel with anything else, either. You've, as always, added just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty and I wouldn't have wanted to cover that panel up either.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be my favourite of your current batch, simply perfect and another debasing cover plate that I might just have to have! That star and peace stamp are the perfect finishing touch xx
ReplyDeleteHoly cow Michele! This is gorgeous!! Speckled Egg sure does make your card shine! Perfection!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, and beautiful layers -- all your newbies are terrific!
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you designed your card using all new products...how fun! Love all the textures from your background and die cut window and the beautiful Speckled Egg color. TFS my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteAh, peace. Perfect peace.

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Michele! You are making the best of Speckled Egg, with the pierced texture and the beautiful snowflake die-cut panel!
