Inspired By #149 ... merry and bright!

We've had snow.  yep.  the four letter word.  I needed something merry, and bright to take my mind off of it!!  Enter Inspired By #149

At first I thought those little wooden disks were cookies - that's where my mind goes most days! SO I found a way to make a little ornament/tag ... see if this will do:

Thanks to my friend Brenda, I did a little digging into my patterned paper container so I could let her know what brand this wonderful wood grain paper was ... luckily, I found it, as it was perfect for my card today!  Craft Consortium really needs to make more quickly, as it is out of stock AGAIN!  Here is where you'll find it one day.  I cut this one with one of my Hero Arts Infinity dies - this one is called Ornaments - duh!

The fabulous sentiment, and die is from Wplus9 - very old, much loved - called Be Merry, and has wonderful coordinating dies!  A few more of those fun wooden dots, and tiny bit of Copic coloring, and my ornament was ready for a little fun yarn ribbon - also ancient!

Are you seeing a pattern here?  Everything old is new again at Christmas time, right?  Hope you find a few cherished supplies to use on your card for this week... you will play along, won't you?  We love it when you do ... see you in the IB149 gallery!
