One might think Christmas for Chrissy's Sketch #394, right? A pretty trio of twinkling stars perhaps? That's not, however, what this silly brain [it might have been found in a jar labeled: Abby Normal] saw - you're not really surprised, are you?
Enter my brain, if you dare...
Yes, the view from my brain: a spooky, swirly, windy night... complete with spiders from the webs in the windows! Just 'creepin' it real' folks! Where do all those spiders come from this time of year??
How will you see CTS394... hmmmmmm? Time to get the those Halloween cards in the mail, I think! and to visit my teamies... let's go!

Lil' Inkers Quilted Swirls - I figure if I keep using it maybe Laura will reopen?? ha!
Mama Elephant Four Window Cover and a few ephemera from my Halloween stash!
Nothing says good morning like a trio of happy spiders at your window! This is so cute....love it!
ReplyDeleteI love spiders and webs...these are some of the best I've seen. Nice stash your have to fall back on. Needless to say your card is CAS perfection.
ReplyDeleteThe only kind of spiders I like! VERY cute, I love the swirly background too!
ReplyDeleteWhen we would go sailing, there were hundreds of spiders curled up in the sail and they would all come floating/crawling down when we put it up. We were moored out in the river...not near any land....now how did all those spiders get THERE??? I still shudder at the thought!
I need some spiders! Trip to Michaels has been inspired by your creepy trio!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind spiders on my cards, but definitely not in my house, so your card is perfect my friend! Loving all those swirly stitched circle on your background...the perfect backdrop for your web and trio of creepy crawlies!! :0)
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Michele! What a great sentiment, too! I love the swirls in the background and your realistic spiders...WOW! Just so you know, the hair on the back of my neck is standing up...Yikes :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of the things you have tucked into that marvelous brain of yours! Even these creepy crawly fellas. YES... where DO all of the spiders come from? We have big black ones creeping around our garage and patio ~ EEEK!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband would be behind the door by now lol.
ReplyDeleteTerrific!! Amazing design!
ReplyDeleteSpiderific!! Guess it stands to reason you'd go for spooky, given the time of year it is. Those little critters want to keep warm to they creep in stealthily, then out themselves by scurrying across the floor or wall. LOL Your card is fabulous! The background is a favorite and I'm so glad I own it. Your spiders are sufficiently creepy, too. Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use this sketch! Love those dangling spiders hanging in your window! Eek!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. Loving the pierced background, like always!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card! I love every thing about it and so sorry I don't have that wonderful die! But, these are definitely the only kind of spiders I like. This seems to me to be the year of the spider around here...they are EVERYWHERE!!! I can't walk around the yard without a stick to break up all the webs before I walk into them...yewwww.
ReplyDeleteAnother fab spooky card. Those spiders are perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great interpretation of the sketch. I love how you are getting so much use out of that background die xx
ReplyDeleteI'm completely devoid of Halloween card ideas and I need to make 10. This one is a doozy, Michele. Love your creativity.
ReplyDeletean absolutely fabulous take on the sketch. Love those dangling spiders and the sentiment is perfecto!
ReplyDeleteCUTE! What a brain you have, my friend, so ingenious!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love how you spooked the sketch, so much fun!
ReplyDeleteGood thing your tiny spiders are safe indoors, Michele ...they'd have been blown away by the wild windy night otherwise! So fun! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteNope....not surprised at all with your interpretation Michele. You are the most creative and have the most fabulous inspirational mind in blogland x. Fun and spooky card, great design layout and a fun sentiment too x. Yep loving this one x.
ReplyDeleteThose dangling stars become spiders!? What a surprising and wonderful take on the sketch, Michele! The quilted swirls make the perfect spooky sky!
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
