ReplyDeleteA perfect take on this book cover, Michele! I love how the moon is rising behind the building and shows so brightly in the night sky!
ReplyDeleteYou get a big fat "A" for ingenuity on this one...but what I love is the sentiment on the inside. It fits so perfectly with the outside one. Super awesome effort.
ReplyDeleteMoody blues scene - perfectly recreated and including wonderful sentiments. It's been decades since I've read a Mary Stewart mystery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely scene, and your background is so spot on! Wow!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't be more perfect, Michele. You always have the perfect stamps/dies and sentiments to create the best challenge worthy cards.
ReplyDeleteFirst off that book looks like a great read by the pool. You got great inspiration from the cover Michele and your card looks amazing! I love the night sky, the silhouetted land and buildings and of course the big ole moon! Love it and love the sentiment. Come join me in the pool won't you?! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGorgeous take on the book cover, Michele! I love a stamp free design once in a while, and this one is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI hope your holiday weekend is off to a great start...stay safe, my friend!!!
So atmospheric and so perfect for the challenge... You rock!
ReplyDeleteYou are fantastic at this kind of challenges, Michele! I looked at the book cover and thought about how I do it before looking at your card. I was stuck in the nature silhouette... And I looked at your card. You used die-cut silhouettes of buildings (and sprinkled the windows on the sea)! I'm so impressed! I also love that you swiped the ink pads first instead of blending/sponging inks only.
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
What a perfect, beautifully detailed take on the book cover, Michele ... and such lovely words, both inside and out! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOh I just LOVE this. What a fantastic take on the book cover, and your sentiment is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, this is so beautiful! It reminds me of the city we got married in - Dubrovnik - which looks just like this when the old stone walls and sea reflect in the moonlight! Absolutely stunning!
