Tom spotted this sweet little dove - I feel just like her...
I shared this next little cutie on Instagram the other day - I thought perhaps you might see the humor in it, too...
Don't get me wrong, this global pandemic is no laughing matter - I'm taking it WAY seriously.
Tom's home - we'll be fine, and I love him - but I'm used to cooking one meal a day - the clean up, and all these dishes may be the last straw!
I do hope you are all hangin' in there, and staying healthy … we can get through this together. I can't tell you how happy I am to see what you're all making! I'm also grateful that you've stopped by today - I hope you've left with a little smile!

Like many others, Ellen Hutson, LLC is closed, too. They will fill orders just as soon as they receive the all clear from their Governor … thank you for your support, and patience! Shopping can certainly wait, right? xx
I always leave your blog with a smile and your dapper dog gave me another today! I'm getting ~ What's for lunch?" "What are we having for dinner tomorrow?" "What are you doing now, didn't you just clean stuff yesterday?" "Laundry again?" But I DO love having him home!! XO
ReplyDeleteYes I sure have smiled Michele....Thank you x.Thank you for sharing you stay well, safe and you keep smiling my friend x.
ReplyDeleteCute little photos! And your little French weiner dog is just adorable! You have NOT lost your sense of humor! And I know what you mean about meals/snacks/dishes....although I normally do that all day long anyway!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun parisian pup!
ReplyDeleteI hear you, I'm running the dishwasher daily! Hang in there my friend.
Hang in there sweetie... At least your sense of humour is intact... Love the card! Funny how we still clean the house etc., when nobody is visiting Lol! Thinking of you and sending cyber safe hugs
ReplyDeleteSeeing a post from you is a guaranteed smile, Michele. The pictures are sweet and wonderful. The card is packed with just the right amount of humor. I'm sure you are being serious about the virus, but you wouldn't be human if it didn't get you down sometimes. Hugs! As for cooking more than one meal a day? Why? Your sweet hubby is capable of making his own meals, isn't he? I make dinner, but breakfast and lunch...they are on their own. :) Hopefully your humor slides right back in place! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe card is cute and funny, but your comment about having to make 3 meals a day instead of just one is what cracked me up and put a smile on my face! Hang in there my friend...we'll get through this!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful sense of humor! Love your adorable card and the sweet pictures - they definitely brought a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteOh Michele ... you absolutely know I'm going to love this little French pooch with his fabulous accent and Poirot-style moustache ... clever, brilliant and so fun! Enjoyed the photo's too ... so important to lift spirits with humour during these testing times ... for ourselves and others. That's what you've done with this post, so I reckon your sense of humour is pretty well intact! Keep your chin up my friend ... and keep cooking (and crafting!). Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the smiles, my friend! Consider this practice for retirement. We do need to keep our sense of humor and not give in to fear. Maybe separation will do a lot to draw us together. The worst is not hugging my grandchildren. They are well and that's the main thing. Keep the smiles coming, my friend.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to be feeling a bit out of sorts, Michele, though you're one of the most upbeat people I know! You might suggest to Tom that since you're doing the cooking, he might take over the clean-up, or at least lend a hand? When Denny retired years ago, I joked that after all those years of me cooking, it was his turn, and he actually took me up on it! I never really enjoyed it, was a chore for me, but he enjoys it; looks on it as a creative thing. And he's way better at it than me!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the much needed smile :) I am going to use the first image as my grand daughter loves the piggy game, never mind she is four now lol It is something we have done and will continue until she grows out of it :) Have a wonderful day :)
ReplyDeleteIs there anything more precious than baby toes? I think not...spent a lot of time playing with my girl's feet when they were littles. After all the drama, this was a lovely post to come to. Saw that darling dove on IG...birds always make me perk up. Still giggling over the french dachshund...you crack me up.
ReplyDeleteA big smile my friend. Love the bone jour. Fabulous card. Sending lots of virtual hugs.
ReplyDeleteTFS the sweet photos and your cute bonejour card, my friend. Being retired..we are use to being around each other...a lot! So we are doing fine. My creativity has decided to take a break though... I so appreciate all the thoughtful cards by my friends online though. Take care and Stay Safe to you all. Love and Hugs..
ReplyDeleteThank you for always providing me with a minimum of a smile and, more often than not, a darn good chuckle! Love those pictures but your card really made me LOL. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something here? Shouldn't the arrow be on the little toe? I always love watching birds and your little dove is darling. You got more that just a smile with your dapper French pooch.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the punny dog! And yep three meals together a day is overload for me too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your punny dog! And your memes aren't bad either :o)
ReplyDeleteStay healthy, stay safe, and keep your chin up, Buttercup!
I'm sorry it took me so long to stop by...your photos are lovely and your card is FABULOuS!!! Thanks for the lift...you're the BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteYour French dog card put a smile on my face, Michele! I appreciate your sense of humor. The dove is so pretty, and I wish I could be like her and stay in warm bed on Monday morning! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
I have never cooked so much in my life... I hear ya! This is just the most bizarre and difficult time. It is impossible not to be shaken by it all. I assure you though, your sense of humor is in the fiber of your being. I just LOVE this little sausage dog and his greeting. Once again I am enabled.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this inspiration with me! I think it's funny how I still feel like this post nearly 7 months later! : ) Gotta keep smiling! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Rachelle : )
