Here is how it spoke to me …
Inside: It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. |
I have a love affair with words … this sentiment is from a new sentiment set I HAD to have. I'll link it here because you may love words as much as I. The set does include the inside sentiment, too.
Now about that fringed stand-in for the louvered shutters in the photo? A very old MFT die called - wait for it - mini fringe!! [I checked - no longer available] I cut it from various cardstock pads from Michael's.
So happy you've stopped by … now please head over to Inspired By #107 and play along? We'd love it if you did!

A wonderful interpretation of this inspiration photo, Michele! Love the papers you cut QUIET from. I have to laugh at the inside sentiment. DH goes so slow that I worry he'll stall out! LOL, maybe it's me that should slow down!
ReplyDeleteThis is one COOL card Michele! I'm loving everything from the DSP you used for the QUIET, to the sentiment, and of course the wonderful lines of fringed papers! Great take on the inspiration photo my friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI’m always So mesmerized on how you’re inspired by inspiration challenges! This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous take on the inspiration photo, Michele. Love your literal interpretation and the fringe.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what an awesome take on the inspiration photo, Michele! I love how you used all the alphas and your take on the shutters is so clever! I think I 'need' those Cutaway Alphas :)
ReplyDelete'Need' that stamp set and paper pad lol.... now all I have to do is wait for it to come back into stock (impatiently lol) ps obviously love the card!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like your variety of letters and love the papers you cut them from! Another terrific card!!
ReplyDeleteVery very very cool....my mind was a total blank when I saw this prompt! I love your fringey layers, and you nailed the QUIET!! I personally love quiet...but I love my music too!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! this is a wonderful card and an amazing take on this challenge!! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as too many alpha dies. They are a stock item. :-) And I think this paper pack jumped into my cart during Ellen's sale the other day too. I was really drawn to it...so happy to see it in use. Hoping to find some time to play!
ReplyDeleteAnd you even gave me one of your sets. I think I need more but not as many as you. I just can't decide which one(s). I love that fringy look and the way you used the patterned paper for the letters.
ReplyDeleteOMG!! This is so brilliant... I want to walk around in your creative brain, taking notes!
ReplyDeleteSo cool, Michele ... and genius! The fringes in place of the shutters are deliciously touchable ... and that word made up of different fonts ... wow, it's fabulous! Brilliant sentiment (and so true!) ... thanks for the link ... it's gone straight into my wish book! Hugs, Anita :)
