Inspired By #71 ... full bloom


My take on this week's Inspired By - full bloom photo board is quite literal... I find it therapeutic to find just the right supplies in my stash to carry it off.  Hope you like my choices!


This card measures 5.5 inches square - definitely will be hand delivered - and includes a few of my favorite sets to color:  Mondo Peony with its companion dies, and a gift from my friend Bobby: Altenew's Starry Flowers.  These were both heat embossed using Hero Arts embossing powder onto water color card, and colored with Distress inks.

    This peony is gorgeous, Michele! I love the soft neutrals that make it so realistic! The pop of the pink flowers make the white peony even more beautiful! A very special card!

    Well, I like it better than the inspiration photo and I like that a lot. The way you tied the number one to the bouquet really makes it more cohesive, literal or not.

    Wow, this is simply gorgeous, Michele! Your watercoloring is beautiful! I especially love the way you added shadows to the white peony. The color of the background really highlights the beauty of the flowers.
