Lea has given us gorgeous Spring time colors to play with this month … and I have put a few new Pinkfresh products into my stash! It's time to put them together for their April 2019 Challenge - Frames & Shakers.
Here is how I managed to frame my Dainty Blossoms, without a shaker element...
Since I'd already added a layer of fun foam under the scalloped Classic Edger panel, adding another for a shaker element was out of the question if this were ever to be mailed! All those little grey dots were re-dotted with Nuvo Clear Glaze to give them the look of shaker-style!
While I had these wonderful dies out, I cut enough to fill a garden … and even managed to make a card with the snippets left over!
Hope you are enjoying many blessings today... I certainly count you all among the blessings in my life... happy Easter!

What a happy Easter delight. Love how you made that "shaker" and using the negatives on the 2nd card Fergu-licious.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Michele! When I saw these cheerful cards, I thought spring had finally come to your place. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colors against white and the shaker-style! The very thin framing is a airy wonderful touch.
Fantastic idea to use the negatives of the die-cuts and beautifully layer them under the white die-cut. I love these springy cards!

Beautifully put together Michele. I love them both. I am especially fond of the second one. The strip with the negative cuts and the white sprig simply stunning in my opinion. Happy Easter my friend.
ReplyDeleteRocked it my friend, so clever bright and fun, ticks all the boxes really!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these Framed cards! Happy Easter:))
ReplyDeleteWow, those diecuts are very snazzy! LOVE the colors....you rocked them for sure, and still managed to get your pretty gray in there too!
ReplyDeleteA pair of delightful cards, Michele. You used those dies very well. I adore the rainbow of colors on the first and your shaker-y but not a shaker card. The snipped on the second card are so pretty! Love the colors. Wonderful work, my friend. I hope you had a very happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color that you chose to place on the white! I’m a real pale aqua and yellow fan....they’re both there!
ReplyDeleteSuch a bright happy garden! Beautifully done! Love that skinny frame! And always fun to have leftovers work to make another card!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely eye candy... All the heart eyes for these...
ReplyDeleteSo much to love on that first card, Michele. The lacy edge, the frame (however did you get that to stay on there?)and the airy colorful flowers. Love the 'leftover' card too.
ReplyDeleteYour Dainty Blossoms are so sweet, Michele! I love your color combo on the first card and how you framed them out on both cards! Really fun idea to use your snippets on the 2nd card, too...you are so clever, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely Easter?

ReplyDeleteLove your pretty little flower garden! Your faux shaker element looks pretty snazzy. And what a great way to use the negatives. Two delightful cards Michele!
ReplyDeleteTwo stunning and beautiful cards Michele! That first one is amazing, I love how you have given a shaker look without it being a shaker. It's so colorful and cheery as well, which of course makes one feel so happy! Your second card makes great use of the negative leftovers. I love this one as much as the first one! Well done my friend! Hugs, Brenda
