I just love her little nest... I simply added a few colors
of brown Distress inks to my clear heat embossed images, and stamped a sweet little gingham sky using the EBE Plaid Maker set.
There is only one Cardinal in the set. Yes. I did do a little mirror stamping! and I checked with my favorite birding site for a guide to coloring my sweet little pair. How simple would it be to make him into a Blue Jay?

The second card is wonderful with the bolder colors! Love the green gingham. And the mirror stamping looks fabulous. So do the colors of the birds. Fantastic work, Michele!

ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I love these sweet little birdies!!! The one with the nest is so pretty, you have colored up this sweetie so pretty and I love the nest with the eggs. I really love those gingham backgrounds too! Never thought to make my own gingham look-now I gotta give that a try! Love the cardinal's as well, you have colored the male and female up so perfectly!!! Looks like a fun release and I am loving this one as it is just in time for spring...when it finally gets here!
