3.5 x 5 inch Valentines I made for my friend to share with her loved ones.
Dolores is one of my biggest cheerleaders, confidantes, and caring shoulder-to cry-on kind of friend one needs in life - for which I love her dearly. Bonus? She actually sends cards!!!
It all started with this card -
… inspired by a patterned paper used by @rebeccascreativelife shared on Instagram! I just fell in love with the paper she used - umm hello! it had dots!
Armed with a random stamp [it might be a flower but, this time, I used the reverse side of the stamp! ;] and my favorite Juniper Mist ink, I produced my own patterned paper!
Then my creative juices just took over, and I found that there were many stamps in my stash that would be great for pattern-paper-production! Like this fun EBE High Five set...
My sewing machine cooperated! yay!
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all!
I do hope you have a day filled with time spent, or memories of, those you love the very most … happy gal-entine's day, my friends!

These are fantastic, Michele! I adore that you used stamps to create your backgrounds. I often forget to do that. So happy you have such a special gal in your life. I hope you have a lovely day! Happy "Gal"entine's Day. Fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! What a great way to stretch your stamps! And I love the big bold designs too! I didn't send ANY Valentines this year, so Happy Valentine's day to you....a day early!
ReplyDeleteNice! These are all wonderful cards, Michele. Perfect colors for fun creations. I especially like the ekg one! Touches my heart, hahahahaha!!! Seriously though, it was right to let those creative juices run wild; you've got an amazing array of sweet cards! HVD. Bev
ReplyDeleteThese are SOOOO cool Michelle, but have to say I am smitten with the square card with the gold stitching over the blended hearts...the stitching even looks like heart beats! LOVE it!! :0)
ReplyDeleteClever to the nth degree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of happy love cards, fabulous collection Michele and what a boon for your friend to have a card producing pal like you.
ReplyDeleteYou are spoiling us now....Wonderful, fun and very creative backgrounds on your unique and artsy cards x.
ReplyDeleteHow fun are these! Great way to think outside of the box and stretch those stamps. That Dolores sounds like a great gal and is lucky to have a friend as sweet as you!
ReplyDeleteThese are ALL so fabulous, you are such an inspiration my friend, and the added stitching too, how daring! Happy Galentines, it's nearly over here and i am working night duty... but my hubby arrives home tonight, he's been up helping with the floods in Townsville for a week (not sure if I told you). But I won't see him til I get home from work in the morning, so we will miss it, but I shall leave a chocolate out for him.
ReplyDeleteAll so simple yet full of impact, Michele. I'm glad you got the gold thread to work in your machine. I never could in mine. It's perfect as an EKG line.
ReplyDeleteYour creative juices really were flowing, my friend! You make it really hard to pick a fave, too...I just love them all, and I'm sure Dolores does too :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a really nice Valentine's Day!!!
I love ALL of these! You've inspired me to look through my stamps!
ReplyDeleteYou patterned paper maker supreme, Michele ... what brilliant designs ... gorgeous colours ... so deliciously put together ... and with such fantastic impact! Love them ... delighted to see your SM is co-operating! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic collection of the V-day cards, Michele! Love every one of them. Fabulous design. You especially did a fantastic job of sawing the ECG over the rows of hearts.
