CAS[E] this Sketch #308 RETRO!

It's retro day!  This time our Sketch #308 is taking us WAY back to CTS#33!  which originally posted in June of 2013!  Long before my time in cardmaking, but I had no problem recognizing a lot of my friends playing along!  Hope you'll play again today!

Seems I've determined it's just as easy to make two cards, than just one … here's the one I shared at our Retro CTS challenge blog...

My card uses a gift I received from a crafty friend who prefers to remain anonymous … thanks, sweet generous friend! xx  Thus the reason for the second card today... a fun way to hop over to say thank you!

So!  Where will this Retro Sketch take you today?  We can't wait to see... now let's hop over to see what my teamies have created...

  2. ooh, those frogs are amazing and the perfect choice for this fun sketch! And what a blast from the past, I totally forgot that I had made this card, where was my brain for this sketch... And it's wierd that my card would be so different nowadays, now, if only I had a little more free time Could you please talk to my husband about letting me craft full time, he knows it would be good for his health lol.

  6. Lots of movement in your pretty design behind the leave. Of course my favorite is the frog design--always love any critters! Those little guys are so charming and fun!

  11. Usually a second card is pretty much the same as the first but yours are so different from each other, Michele. The first is rather sophisticated while the second is whimsical. It just goes to show you can do it all.

  13. I love the beautiful flow of both the leaves and the background pattern of the first card. The second one should receive a think-outside-the-box award! It's a super fun surprising take on the sketch! You're a genius, Michele!

  14. That first card put me in mind of a leafy sprig floating in a gentle drifting stream, Michele ... and then I find the frog pond ... how brilliant! They're French frogs, bien sûr! Hugs, Anita :)
