The chicks at the Twofer Card Challenge have chosen Birds as their next theme... I think I have a few! These Warm and Feathered friends from MFT are happy to keep playing through the Winter months!

What a pair flippin' cute birds, Michele!! Such a sweet thank you card, and I have to say that I'm mad about that soft pink and yellow panel. You've colored him perfectly and the shaker bits are darling! Your Valentine is delightful. Your watercoloring is wonderful and the little heart is just the right touch. Thanks for playing along with us at the Twofer Challenge. xo Bev
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how cute, Michele! I love these darling owls and you have showcased them perfectly! Your pink and yellow background on the first card is divine and I love that you created a shaker for her...what a lovely way to say 'Thank You'! I'm also loving how you added the trees and little heart on the 2nd card...both are really special, in my book!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, M, and what a pair of cuddly birds they are! I can't believe I don't own that guy just to get my hands on that scarf! Your sleepover thank you is divine and making it a shaker takes it to another level! I also love your wintry hello Valentine! The backgrounds on both are MWAH! Thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #12! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh I just love this little hoot all snuggled up in that cozy scarf. These are fantastic Michele, super sweet!
ReplyDeleteFantastic job making your Twofers. I love both versions of the way you used that winter bird.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are adorable Michele!! Love that sweet owl image with the big scarf. He looks warm and toasty wearing it! First card with the shaker ... so pretty! And pink ... I LOVE pink! Great design! And the second with the forest of winter trees ... fantastic. Two great designs! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge and thanks for sharing your winter card with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
ReplyDeleteCute birds. I'm a definite fan of the 'not-so-sappy' Valentine :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up with the CAS Mix Up Challenge. I must have tuned in on a Bokeh vibe from somewhere ;-)

Both of these cards are fabulous, Michele. I really like the browns in the second card and that sky. How fun that you added the heart. This is a neat card, but my heart skipped a little at the first card. Oh my goodness! I love the watercolored background and the soft painting on the owl and the shaker bits! I see little flowers! Wonderful work here! Happy sigh! And hugs to you for always delighting!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable Michele! That poor little bird looks like his scarf is too tight but I gues he doesn't seem to mind. Love the colors of your sweet shaker card and your water coloring is fab on the next one!
ReplyDeleteSimply sweet, Michele ... that little bird is adorable in both your fabulous scenes! Love that soft, warm yellow/pink background to the shaker ... such a cosy spot for that wrapped up tweetie! The natural colours on your second card are delicious ... that red scarf and shiny heart really pop against them! Always delighted to have you playing along with us at Twofer, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThose little owls sure do have a way of stealing your heart, don't they?!! Both cards are FABULOUS and the water coloring is wonderful Michele!! LOVE the shaker card because, well, it is a shaker and I do LOVE shakers!! Really like the soft pinks and yellows in this card too! Your 2nd card pictures what is right outside my window to a T! Browns and grays and COLD!! But at least your card has warmth to it with that sweet little owl all snuggled in his scarf, and I'm loving the non-sappy Valentine part too! Two wonderful cards my friend! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!! :0)
ReplyDeleteIt goes without saying that I love those owls, Michele, but what you've done with them requires compliments galore. Is that a fireplace you created with the shaker? If not it should be because that's what I see. I'm with you on the non-sappy valentines. I'm always looking for a cute way to do them and you've found one.
ReplyDeleteDarling twofer Michele. Those birds are so darned cute! Love what you've done with the shaker and the Happy Day Valentine.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh Michele, what a couple of darling twofer's!!! I love that sweet little bird, can he get any cuter?!! I also am loving your watercoloring and how you used this cutie in two different ways. Well done on this challenge my friend! Now I need to go write a post for my twofer's! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are adorable but you already knew that because they're Stacey Yakula's images. (I love them, too.) But the methods you used to showcase them are wonderful and sweet. I'll make a bet there in the finals.

ReplyDeleteYou combined pretty and cute in a most wonderful way, Michele! Dreamy backgrounds and that adorable owl -- love! Beautiful pastels in a shaker on the first, and hearts are good for me any ol' day of the year. Thanks for playing along in our Twofer Birds challenge with these two fantabulous cards!
ReplyDeleteDid someone say birds? lol. I think this challenge was made for you my friend and you have not disappointed, these are both wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like your shaker card with a lovely bird and also the watercolored background with not so happy Valentine. :-)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, your backgrounds are amazing! Love the delicate pink and yellow and the soft browns. And your sweet owls are both adorable--love their scarves!

Very cute. I like the soft colors that you used!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable owl image, Michele! Love that scarf and how he sits on a shaker on one card and carries the little heart on the other! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Love your sweet cards but that second is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou created super cute & sweet bird cards, Michele! Love your fabulous soft watercoloring. Your uniqueness/creativity shines in the white heat-embossed outlines of the second owl! Fantastic twofers!
