I have the pleasure of teaming up with the fabulous Justine Hovey! We chose to use Pretty Pink Posh products on our tags, using heat embossing and non-traditional colors!
There is one of the PPP sets that really stole my heart this year: Flourishing Fuchsias and coordinating dies. Think that can't work for Christmas? Think again!
I've heat embossed just the leaves in white onto TH water color card stock, and colored them with Distress Inks: Milled Lavender, and Shabby Shutters - could that lavender be more feminine? okay, the pearls don't hurt, do they?
How about a little closeup? Can you see the splash of
Gansai Tambi White Gold from their Starry Colors set?
Doesn't it look wonderful
with the silver heat embossed sentiment from
Now how can you make a tag without a little sentiment? I wrote my own on my PC and printed it strategically
so it can be cut with a die - this favorite from
PPP Decorative Tag no. 1 works the charm!
Now, please join me as I visit Justine? I cannot wait to see her heat embossed, non-traditional-color tag!
Wait! Before you go... I did mention prizes, didn't I? Ellen Hutson will be giving away twelve $25 gift certificates and one $150 gift certificate to the shop. Comments left at the EH blog, and tags made for our challenge make YOU eligible to win! so. one more word GO!!
