CAS[E] this Sketch #296

Ahhh… November 1st!  Today it begins!  The rush to get all of my Christmas cards made!  Last year, I mailed 80+ cards... do the math folks... that is A LOT of making!

CTS #296 will help...

so will these guys...

It's been some time since I've had Second Helpings, right?  You'll have to wait until tomorrow … I'll be sharing a few sneak peeks of the EBE  November release - why not incorporate this fun Sketch?!

  2. We used to send out around 300 Christmas cards. The postage alone was enough to make me stop nearly entirely. DH still sends out a few, but I'm a bad cardmaker...I don't. This one is absolutely adorable, and it looks fairly easy to replicate. Those birds are so sweet, sharing that single scarf! Love it!! Bev

  3. Awwww! inspired by two tweet kids : ) Whoever gets this will be twice blessed Michele!!

Say, what is the stitching die you used in the background? You used that on a card you made for me once and I enjoy looking at it every day! I guess I just need to go buy it! heehee Thanks in advance.

    Have a great day!

  5. Super sweet take on the sketch, Michele! I love how you doubled-down and included stitching on your card base as well as the branches...so clever! Beautiful coloring, too! You have (once again) inspired me to ink up this set :)

  10. Absolutely adorable, Michele! You are going to be one busy gal, but it is so worth it! Your recipients will very much appreciate the love and effort that goes into creating the cards. Those birdies are so sweet and I really like how you used the branches and holly. I really like that stitching die that you use in so many clever ways. Hugs!!

  15. What a lovely bird couple, Michele! So are they you and Tom? ;-)
Fantastic take on the sketch - using the horizontal lines as branches and having the birds perch on one of them.
Adding the horizontal stitched lines on the card base adds interest too.

  17. I am such a pain in the... neck! Michele can you please tell me AGAIN what the die is that you used in the background for this card. You have already told me but dang if I don't have my credit card in my hand today and can't find your e-mail. I have looked all over at several companies and can't find it so I'm hating to bother you again. eeeek!

I'll make it worth your while!! *wink*
